Update: I reached out to both LWW support and vitalsource support. Vitalsource responded the fastest. They said because I redeemed the code using LWW’s website (as per the instructions in the book), that they can’t help me and I have to reach out to them. Thankfully LWW tech support responded and gave me a new code. They told me to go to the vitalsource website or bookshelf app and use the code there. Once I did that, I got the ebook instantly. Bottom line: DO NOT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE EBOOK IN THE BOOK. DO NOT REDEEM THE CODE USING THE LWW “the Point” WEBSITE. Only redeem the code using vitalsource or their app Bookshelf. Otherwise you will lose the redemption code and will have to go through this process. I changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars because they resolved my issue and it’s a good textbook, just had to go through a lot of unnecessary hassle to actually get the ebook. I would not have purchased this book without the ebook functionality because I need access to this text on the go.Please do not bother buying this if you want to use the ebook. It is completely broken and once you scratch to reveal the code for the ebook, you cannot return the physical book. Terrible and unacceptable from a medical textbook publisher that charges so much for this.

Book clearly in poor condition despite being “new”. Extremely disappointed that the product was in 2 pieces the second I opened the box.

good book. but don't count on e book access. It's more of marketing scheme. code doesn't work and IT support is non existent.
