I bought this mount so I could achieve overhead shots while playing card games on discord or spelltable. Its sturdy, easy to put together. I do wish it were a little bit taller, but I was able to fix this small dilemma by stacking items underneath the stand.

Works well with my camera. Very stable. Base is heavy, so be aware of that. But it does it's job well.

So far so good. Am using it with my mini projector to transfer images for doing art work. Is sturdy and adjustable many ways (height and angles). Recommended

Sure, you could use it for a webcam. But I was looking for something to hold my phone for Teams and Zoom calls when I'm traveling, so that I don't have to haul my laptop everywhere. I have a phone clamp that has a standard tripod thread, and which attached perfectly to this stand. The stand can be used with, or without, the gooseneck. For my purpose, I'm using it without. Attach phone clamp, adjust height, and presto! This thing is heavy duty. The base is a solid block of steel, threaded to receive the riser which is also heavy duty steel. Three degrees of freedom on the mounting head. Adjustable height. Really, really high quality. For travel, I disassemble the riser from the base, put it in a 1 gallon zip lock bag to keep it all together, and throw it in my suitcase. It also allows me to use my phone as a convenient second display, sitting above my laptop screen. Perfect for watching the game while I'm working down below! And the base is so solid that tapping the phone screen doesn't knock it over. Or even try to. It's a bit heavy if you are looking for something to toss in a backpack to carry around every day. But for a semi-permanent mount, or for something that you can travel with, this is a wonderful product! I can't recommend it highly enough!

The base is super heavy which is great to prevent your camera from falling over on accident. But it was a bit too wide for my setup and wasn’t very “space saving”. Overall the stand is great. But the one fault that was just too much for me was the rotating ball. It was easy to untighten the ball enough to rotate the camera to the desired angle. Once I picked the angle I wanted I’d then try to tighten it but no matter how hard I tried my camera would always end up crooked. And having my video footage be crooked constantly wasn’t going to work for me. So had to return. Other than that everything else worked perfectly.

So pleased with this stand! I work from home and when they sent everyone cameras, we were not provided any type of stand to mount them on. It was easy to put together, very sturdy and my camera doesnt droop down. It fit my camera perfectly and the stand is solid. I love that if I need to adjust it depending on the light coming from my window that I can do so with ease. The flexible stand is so convenient! Whoever designed this, kudos to you! I highly recommend.

Very flexible adjustments to suit any camera or phone set up. Locks securely and doesn’t take up much room. My desk won’t allow for a clip on style, so this having a heavy, sturdy base is perfect!
