I have put my Forever Sharp knives in the dishwasher, and they have been fine. I don't recall if the packaging indicates dishwasher safe. I most often just hand wash them after use though. I love these knives. I have the whole set, and use at least one of them on a daily basis.

Q: Do they come in a set of steak knives?

I got the set after my girlfriend said she was taking hers with her and leaving. What I got was made in china and inferior to her older set. Not as sharp, hers will slice through frozen meat easily, this chinese crap wont. The handle broke off one of the steak knives when I sliced a small piece of cheese.

Q: Do you sell just the large serrated edge knife by itself?

I never tried to order those, as I already have 4 of them. I love them.

Q: Are these "heavy"? They are for seniors

No Not heavy but very sharp. My brother gaveme one in Australia and as soon as I started using it I purchased the set. I am very happy with them.
