The seal on these items is unreal and very hard to open and the plastic is very brittle and likely to crack when dropped so the worst of both worlds. Also in the blurb on the ad indicated there was a holder so that the items could be stored for space saving, This was noticably absent and main reason for buying. Not the quality expect from Joseph Joseph with ease of use dire as force used to open means spillage when released. If considering stick to cheaper tupper ware which won't crack if dropped and can be opened by non olympic athlete.

As with all Joseph kitchen equipment this is of a very high standard and will probably last years. It slots on and sticks easily but in the end I decided to use the storage containers on their own as I found they took up rather a lot of room hanging down. If you have deep shelves I feel these will be perfect but not for me.However, I love the containers and are using them now and they stack beautifully on top of each other. I have actually ordered more of these as using them has enabled me to get rid of some large bulky storage jars and give me more room in my cupboard.I notice one reviewer has said that they are difficult to open and I agree they are a bit tricky so if you have arthritic hands or anything similar I think this would pose a difficulty and so I have given this a score of four stars rather than five

This is easily one of the best Joseph Joseph products I’ve bought to date! I recently moved into a house with a smaller kitchen and these pots have allowed me to keep frequently used ingredients (pasta, rice and lentils) close at hand without taking up valuable counter or shelf space. A definite winner!

These have helped me stop stacking things and makes the cupboard look much more clear and less cluttered. If a little cheaper would prob get a few more. For now it's the tea and coffee containers just.

The product looks good but is extremely hard to open and then when you do, it’s with such force everything inside spills out. No recommended for anything other than looking pretty.
