Useful TSA friendly tool.
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this tool for a trip where I didn’t want to check a bag. It drew attention to itself at both TSA checkpoints due to its unique shape, but after further inspection I was allowed through with it both times. On location it was enough for me to cut through small cords and packaging as well as open bottles etc.

Good EDC
Very nicely done. I have two, especially for self defense.

I find this item very useful. I am happy with the investment.
I am a police officer with over twenty years with my agency. I wish the Shuki was standard issue since it has so many useful applications. I find that it is sturdy, feels great in the hand and is not cumbersome in the least. This terrific tool fits perfectly in any pocket or in my pouches or in the molle loops of my outer ballistic vest. I hope the designer develops more products specifically for first responders’ uses, especially for self defense and compliance. Bravo! -Gregory

TSA Approved
I purchased this to use somewhat as a personal defense weapon and multi-tool to keep on me while traveling, specifically for flying when I can't have my other EDC items. This item has flown through San Jose, San Francisco (where it was pulled during a training and passed inspection) and Sacramento airports without any issues. Keep in mind, there's not much to the personal defense other than the fact that you're holding a piece of metal in your hand in a variety of ways and it can be used to multiply force. It's also just nice to have should you find yourself needing to cut a seatbelt or break a window in an emergency.
