Works well!
I’m not using it anymore but at the beginning it did work well. Better than the wood ones. It does not replace fingertips.

Your Scalp Will Love You For It
I've wanted to try a scalp massager for a long time and I finally pulled the trigger.I have long, dry curly hair and an oily scalp. I wasn't sure how a massager would work on my hair type and, unfortunately, my set came without directions. But I researched the product online after receiving it, and it's not too difficult to figure out.I first tried it on dry hair and, ultimately, I think that's my preferred method due to my hair texture. It does grab at the hair and pulls a bit, but it didn't hurt, just surprised me.Next, I tried it in the shower. I poured the shampoo on the massager and, with my long hair, it was somewhat of a battle to get the shampoo from the bristles all over my scalp and on my hair. I did like the massage feel, and the crown of my head felt sensitivite when I first touched it with the massager, I think because the muscles are so tight muscles. I hold a lot of tension in my head (and get tension headaches), so the crown must be where it's happening. After gently massaging the shampoo on the area, it genuinely felt less tight - something I'd never paid attention to until now.Since it was my first time using this tool with my long, wet, curly hair, getting shampoo all through my hair was challenging. With some effort, I got it all over my head but had to redo the shampoo and use my fingertips a second time to get all over my head. Maybe this will improve with practice. The massager is not exactly heavy but it's not lightweight, either, so while trying to learn how to best use it, my arm started to get a bit tired. Toned arms and a relaxed scalp? Maybe not so bad, after all.My scalp, now that my hair is air drying, feels very clean. I wash my hair every day due to its oiliness and always thought I'm washing it fine, but my scalp now feels very refreshed and tingly. Who knew a simple tool like this could have this effect?I'll keep trying different ways to use the massager, maybe to oil my hair, massage it wet after my shower instead of during, until I find my favourite method. It did leave my hair tangled in the shower, though, so that was my least favourite part. The good news is, the packet includes 2 massagers, so one for wet and another for dry massaging? If you're using it for shampooing, I recommend pouring the shampoo on the hair first, getting it all through the hair with fingertips, then using the massager to move it around.Pros:- 2 massagers- inexpensive- soft bristles- easy to clean- minimal packaging (good for the environment)- tingly, relaxed scalpCons:- no directions- slightly big for smaller hands- learning curve on how to best use it- tangles hair- not easy on curly hairOverall, I'd say give it a try. What do you have to lose?

Doesn't feel great
Not sure what these are supposed to feel like, but I imagined a scalp massager would feel nice. It kinda feels like if you made a fist and rubbed your knuckles on your head. But it does scrub well and cleans good with shampoo, even on my curly hair. Just doesn't feel great.

NOT your average scalp scrubber!!!
I strongly recommend these. I bought them for myself and my son. I use them for follicle stimulation and relaxation. My son has a tendency to develop dandruff especially during sports seasons when his hair is getting washed so frequently. He really didn't like the scrubbers we had before, because the points were such stiff, harsh plastic; we'd have to press down so much to get through his extremely thick hair that it irritated his scalp. And I didn't like them because they were hard on my hair, which is fine but grows thickly and can make it hard to get down to my scalp. The points on these are flexible, and it is SO much easier to use them for both of us. We used his with the Yes to Tea Tree Pre-Shampoo Scalp Scrub, and it did an amazing job of leaving his scalp squeaky clean. I've been using mine with Creme of Nature Argan Oil, and my hair & scalp are very very happy.I honestly don't know why all scalp scrubbers aren't made this way, but since they're not, we will definitely be buying more of these if/when the need arises. Very happy!

Works wonders
Everyone needs one of these! Even my kids have one, love this! My scalp & hair feels so clean and healthy. Easy to use, such a simple step to add to your hair routine but makes a big difference. Also helps ensure my kids really wash their hair properly. My only issue is it easily comes undone, after like the third use the spike comb part starts to come loose, it’s easy to fasten it back on but can be annoying🤷🏻♀️Otherwise it works wonders for my scalp, therefore my hair. I have thick, full waist length hair and this is has made a difference in my hair health. Does not hurt your scalp at all.

Goes through thick hair
I have very coarse thick hair and this scrubs right through. I love it! I just don’t know why it opens…

Great feeling shampoo massager!
We had another head massager/scrubber that was getting old. We use it in our shower to do a quick head scrub when we shampoo to loosen everything up and stimulate blood flow (hoping to keep our hair thick and healthy for life!). Got these new ones to replace the old one. These scrubbers are WAY better than the one I had (see my pictures for comparison). The handle is more ergonomically comfortable as it curves to your whole hand with grooves for your fingers. The scrubby tips are the PERFECT amount of flex and stiffness to do the job but not hurt your scalp. You can use this one more easily when your hair is dry because of the build of the tips (my old one is really better used when you have shampoo in there). The only (possible) downsides are: don't love the logo on it, but whatever....and I LOVE purple, so was happy to get this one, but don't really love the green color (personally)...a little kid might love it. Overall, I would definitely recommend! I don't see these ever wearing out, but if they do, I would not hesitate to buy again.
