For those who care about branding...
These not only come close to duplicating the behavior of tungsten, they are available in different Kelvin ratings - a plus over tungsten!As more and more of our tungsten bulbs die, the search for LED replacements seems to be getting more difficult. Tungsten bulbs dimmed so smoothly, to rather low light levels, and could stay there without flickering. Over the years, the brands at my local box stores has dwindled to names obviously made by "who knows." I have had good results with GE and Sylvania, especially Sylvania. None of my box stores had those brands so I bought some of their brand X. They had these common features: they did not dim to anything close to candle light, they did not dim smoothly but jumped from one light level to another, they would not always hold a light level without either flickering or shutting down, and they are not that inexpensive given their short life spans. Thank you Europe for Sylvania.

Compared to other brand names, it is very economical. The brightness is just perfect.

Nice natural light
Fills the room with light. The color of the light is nearly the same as the sunlight filtered through my skylight. Very pleased.

Nice bright light, bulb life less than expected
I like the design, color and brightness of these bulbs, but I feel like we have to replace them faster than some of the other ones we've used. We use these in recessed can lights. These are wide, so they are a little hard to grab in order to change the bulb, but it works in our case.

Another good Sylvania product
Exactly what I needed to brighten up a large bathroom. Brightness and color temperature are excellent, and Sylvania is a reliable brand. Decent price as well.

1 totally dead, 1 flickered, then came on, but don't want to risk it. Returning both.

Small delay
Lights are great, like the warm, soft white tone. They just have a slight delay compared to my other lights but otherwise good!

Loose part sounds like a baby rattle
Quality control seems to be poor being shipped with loose parts.The photo shows a screw inside the bulb.
