AWDis mens Pocket

I never really thought of myself as a real fashion guru, but this jacket makes me feel just a bit cooler than I normally feel. (Not at all, normally!) I feel pretty snazzy wearing it out and about in moderate weather conditions. It is actually quite warm - warmer than I anticipated. It is made of a heavy cotton blend that is similar to a decent sweatshirt. There is no lining in it, but it is optimal from 25 F and up. The fit is not bad on my body. I ordered an XL and it fits a little loose - just the way I like it. The waist is a bit binding in that it as the jacket rides up on you, it doesn't fall back down. This can make the jacket appear to have a bulge in it at the belly. Otherwise, it fits me perfectly. The snaps are fairly secure most of the time. I have one occasionally open on me, but it isn't terribly often and usually happens when I am extended a bit much for it. However, I love the way I feel wearing it. I oftentimes have to wear sunglasses because I had Lasik done about 10 years ago and my eyes have been sensitive to light ever since. When they aren't worn, they sit above my head in a ready position and with this jacket and that appearance, I get complimented often on my style. This becomes even more so when I roll the sleeves up. Lol...there is something about this jacket, let me tell ya! I got the version that is Navy with white sleeves and that color combination just pops, for some reason. Overall, I would gladly recommend this jacket to anyone. It is stylish, well-made and incredibly priced. Pair it with some sunglasses and some blue jeans and you'll have a look that gets noticed!

I ordered one jacket to test it out before I decided to buy another 11 jackets and the first jacket came as promised and it was wonderful quality for the price. The color is as expected and the small fits exactly as I wanted it to (true to size). The only problem I have is that when I came back to order 11 jackets at once, I was not alerted to the fact that these jackets would be delivered in THREE separate shipments and that they would not all arrive at the time promised. I am now still waiting for the other EIGHT jackets I have already paid for. To me, this is ridiculous, and they should have been upfront about how these jackets would ship or at least not have promised to have them for me a WEEK ago as of this posting. I have reached out to the company and I am awaiting their response, and will update this review when they do. As of right now, this kind of service and business practice is deplorable. UPDATE: Upon contacting the seller, I received courteous and prompt assistance. They quickly tracked my packages and found that they were stuck in customs and it was out of their hands. While they then provided me updated shipping info over the next 3 days until my parcels arrived, it would have been better if I had known right off the bat that the parcels would be separate, and perhaps it would have been easier to just place 3 different orders in the same day and have all 3 parcels arrive at once. Beware if you're in a time crunch as these jackets are coming from the UK and might get stuck at the post office sorting facility.

I have a 34-inch chest and take 22.5-inch sleeves, and I usually wear an extra-small when available because it usually seems that in American sizing, men's extra-small = 34 and small = 36. I ordered the small because it's a 34, but found it too long in the sleeves, and the extra-small that I exchanged it for is a bit snug in the body. I do have a slight spare tire, but I'd have to be very trim for it to be a nice relaxed fit. Well anyway, it's knit, so it's still not uncomfortable even when fully buttoned. As others have pointed out, construction-wise, this isn't a traditional varsity jacket, but more like a button-down sweatshirt, which, luckily, is what I was looking for. As such, the price is low and it seems like a good weight and quality. Apart from the fabric, the styling is pure as far as I can tell, no "new twist on an old classic" features. The burgundy and grey looks close to the product photo, yet somehow better in person. I like it a lot and would recommend it if you want a red and white jacket but quieter-looking.
