I'm using this in my recliner as I recover from surgery. I had been using a feather pillow, which normally works great, but just isn't good enough for round the clock use. This pillow really shines in its ability to take the long hours of use without losing support. It is not quite as comfortable as a feather pillow for low hours of use, but much more comfortable when the time on your back is long.

This cushion provides firm (not hard) support, conforms well with a very subtle wrap-around sensation, and does not retain body heat. It almost immediately provided relief from lower back pain caused by sacroiliac / sciatic nerve conditions. It is also easier to position properly in upright (office) chairs than most other lumbar support pillows for those with a petite stature or who find most lumbar supports are too high on the back. Very pleased with the quality and ease of cleaning. Will be ordering more today.

This helps with back pain when sitting for long periods of time

I wanted this to help with my back pain while sleeping. Well, this thing is a HARD memory foam. Once it expands it is quite big. I tried using it on the bed and it felt like my body was making a pyramid with how high it lifted me. Horribly uncomfortable. We have a hard mattress, too, so that didn't make a difference. My husband tried it as well and it did the same to him. I just ended up throwing it on my computer chair, but it did not serve the purpose I needed.

This product is very helpful to my back issue. I can watch TV for hours without any discomfort. I purchased it for our international trip in April and hope this lumbar support will prevent me from having back pain.

Best back care for sciatica pain, gave total relief. Had been to a chiropractor several with only temporary relief. Saw the pillow on Amazon and decided to try it. I cannot believe the instant relief. Within a few days, my pain had eased. Now it is completely gone. Price for the pillow support is great and the fact that Amazon is so good about reimbursing any product that doesn't work were all considerations of my purchase. Great product and one that will always be on hand should my back problem return.

I tried this once and I instantly felt nauseous and light headed. My back has been spasming ever since, about a week. I don't know if it hit a pressure or point or something, but there is something VERY wrong with how this is designed if it can cause this much pain. I have no history of back problems.

People complain about how “stiff” it is but once you settle in it provides the perfect support. Fits perfect in a plane seat and comes with a compressed bag which made for easy travel.
