High quality faux leather large format collection of 3 volumes of this classic manga. Why 4 not 5 stars? Well although the covers are reproduced in colour other pages are muddy grays. But it’s big & beautiful nevertheless

When I started reading this story from the original floppies printed by Dark Horse Comics, I immediately feel in love with the story and art. Just amazing pacing and imagery by Hiroaki Samura. When I was originally reading and collecting this series of comics, I did not realize they were a reprint of the original manga and was always left waiting each month for another small portion of the story to be offered. Eventually I moved across country for school and did not access to a local shop to get the books let alone the funds and ended up getting gaps in the series that I filled in with reprinted collections from Dark Horse. Eventually these collected Omnibuses started to release with a faux grey leather covers and have been buying them to get a complete collected version. Though the grey covers are not as stunning as the Berserk covers of the collected omnibus, I am looking forward to rereading the entire series and seeing the final ending, which I have yet to read. Definitely recommend this series, and if you can afford these collected omnibuses, then this is the way to go. Otherwise, purchase the collected paperback version of this story. You will not be disappointed.

The book is just such high quality. The stock paper is leagues better than the standard singles most manga is published in. This series is among the best; arguably up there with vagabond

Love this series. Have only read the first couple volumes but have been picking up the rest as they release. These hardbound collections are gorgeous, the minor detail of the ribbon bookmark is really nice as well.
