Perfect for TRX setup
Beefy and works great outdoors with our TRX system. Also looks nice compared to others I've seen.

PT Approved - Value & Ease of Use!
The media could not be loaded. As a Physical Therapist, I believe suspension trainers are some of the best workout tools for the money! You can do a variety of exercises with varying intensity at a minimal cost and spatial footprint. I particularly liked this product because of the value, four bolt holes (I only used two into studs), and the quality of the hardware. I've personally used this for all types of movement - including high velocity, at 190lb with full confidence.

Thought it the cross bars would be thicker.
Here are some additional specs. The cross bars are about 5/16". See pictures for measurements on my caliper. The plate is .2 inch thick. There is a dollar bill thick gap between the cross bars.So I thought that the bars might be thicker like 3/8" or larger. Larger would mean a stronger connection due to the larger welded area. I also think that the bars should have a tack weld where they cross. Just seems like it would be stronger so all four connection share the force as much as possible.

Inexpensive, but properly built and strong!
Inexpensive compared to an actual TRX wall/ceiling mount. Rated for 800lbs, whereas most other non-TRX mounts are rated for 400lbs or less.Welds on the Viking appear to have been done on the flat, mounting side, and appear to be high quality. They do not protrude from the mount so they won't marr your wall or ceiling. Most cheap mounts are welded on the side with the 2 rings, and many competitor's products appear to have been welded by beginners. This mount appears to have what I'm guessing is a powder coat paint on it that has some thickness and texture to it. As long as you use the nylon straps on it (never connect carabiners directly making a metal to metal contact) I don't think you'll have a problem with the paint. Some have said that the mounting hardware seemed flimsy. I'm not sure if they were referring to the lag bolts or the concrete anchors. In my case, both sets of hardware appeared to be of good quality, although I didn't use either. I used 4 GRK RSS (Rugged Structural Screws) to mount it to a ceiling joist. I used 5/16” x 3 1/8" screws. GRK RSS 5/16” screws are stronger than 1/2" Lag bolts, and can be installed by hand without having to drill pilot holes, add they are self tapping. Each screw is rated for 4,000lbs. tensile and 3,000lbs shear, so you're never going to break them!!! They are about $1 each at Lowe's.

Easy to install, strong
We used these to mount my daughter’s Ariel silk. They are mounted to main beams in my basement and have held up well to all of the swinging and playing. Excellent product at a great price point.

Rock Solid Steel Bracket at a GREAT PRICE
Not much to say other than it's a perfect knockoff to the "name brand" at a 75% price reduction. Heavy steel and it's got a nice powder coating on it too. Highly recommend for the outstanding price point.
