LaskoWind Curve with Fresh Air Ionizer, Black, 42 Inches

I bought new fans to replace the old Lasko fans that I had been using for about 8 years. We only use them during the hottest days, because we live at the beach, so we don't have A/C (it seldom gets very hot, most of the time it would just sit on the roof and rust from salt & sand corrosion) So I have a large, heavy duty Air King that runs when the Santa Anas are really bad, and the 2 smaller fans for general circulation & bedroom use during most of the summer.The old Laskos worked very well, took up a small footprint and were not too terribly noisy. I also liked the oscillation feature and the Ion feature for sleeping. I almost never used the remote, but it worked just fine.The new Lasko fans I replaced the old ones have the same features, 3 fan speeds, oscillation, ionization for better air quality, and a remote. I figured hey, the old ones worked great, so I'll just stick with the brand the second time around.Out of the box, assembly was super easy, the base comes in 2 pieces that key together like a puzzle, no screws- woo hoo! The cord was the same length, so they fit easily into the same spots as I used the old ones. The remote requires 2 AAA batteries- supplied by purchaser, I didn't have any AAAs so I'll assume the remote works fine. If not I'll amend this review later.The big improvement overall was that the new units are WAY quieter than the old ones. It used to be a bit disruptive to run the fans when watching TV or a movie. I hardly even notice the new ones! I have to say, I am glad I stuck with the Lasko brand second time around, They do not disappoint!

I bought this fan for my bedroom. My room is the hottest room in the house for some it’s the only room that always feels hot with the AC on even when the rest of house is cold. I mainly use the fan during the night to keep me cool. When I first received it and put together which is very easy to assemble I left it on while I ran to the store. When I came back and went in my room it felt so good and cool like when you open the freezer and that cool air hits you. My room is usually a little warm when I open the door so it was a pleasant surprise! It doesn’t take long to cool the room either. When I get hot during the day and turn on the fan, I usually have to turn it off after a short while because I get cold. The only reason I give 4 out 5 stars is it’s not very quiet you definitely hear it and the remote only works if you are pointing it directly at the top front of the fan. But other than great fan and would recommend it

This fan functions great and is not loud like others I've had. I like the uv feature which seems to help with odors a little. Obviously not like an air purifier but it's a nice added feature. I appreciate that it doesn't take up a lot of space like my old lasko fan which was bulky and hard to move around. This one is relatively light and sits nicely in the corner of my living room. Has really helped cool off the room this summer and keep the air from the AC circulating throughout the house. I own another lasko tower fan that is extremely loud and I couldn't talk or hear the TV over it even on low. This one does not interfere with watching TV or having a conversation and does a good job of keeping my space cool.

We have an air conditioner that works fairly well but sometimes it’s still too hot in our apartment. We have a lot of windows and it takes a while to cool down.I always wanted to try this fan but I thought it was too expensive. I’m so glad that I bought it. It can chill the room down in minutes while I wait for the air conditioning to catch up. It also has a timer so it can work for a while and then stops. Sometimes I use it at night to help us sleep and it gets really cold. That’s the best sleep when it’s chilly and you wake up refreshed. I love this fan.

This was our 4th Lasko tower fan and this one is my favorite, mostly because it works better than the other 3, along with I absolutely love the color finishes on it. Additionally, getting it at the Prime day deal price made this the perfect purchase.I will say that their normal / regular price is too much for this fan.
