Pellon102R Fuse Vinyl, Clear

I got & have used this product & when I run out I even purchase more & I REALLY love the price as well, much cheaper than buying it else where, I love the fact that it is very easy to use with no problems at all, I also love the way it performs & does what I want it to do. Since I have NEVER used Pellon 102R Vinyl Fuse before, I didn't know WHAT to expect or even if I would be able to work with it, the way it say to use it, but I have to ADMIT that this stuff & product is GREAT, so I will INDEED be buying more to have on hand. VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER INDEED!!!!!!!!

This did EXACTLY what I needed it to do! Follow directions and watch a quick youtube video if you do better with pictures. I suggest as soon as the vinyl has been applied and while still warm to stick it under something flat with some weight on it. I used my quilting ruler with a jug of water on top. Helps it to cool and stay flat for the next phase of sewing. The patterned fabric in the image has the vinyl on it.Thank you for a wonderful product!!

I have been making small cosmetic style bags as gifts and wanted to use a fusible vinyl to protect the interior fabric. I purchased the Heat n Bond from Walmart since I could not find this product at either Joann or Hancock. The Heat n Bond is a sort of stiff and has a crinkly sound when it moves. Also, when pulling the bag through the lining hole to turn the bag right side out it separates from the fabric. I just used the Pellon matte product on a bag and when ironed on it has great flexiblity with no "crinkly" sound at all. Also, the best part, it did not separate from the fabric when turned right side out. On my small bags it is impossble to re-iron the vinyl once the project is complete as many people advise doing with the Heat n Bond. In this case paying a little more for a product really does get you better quality in my opinion. I am very happy. Also, I love the matte. You can barely tell it's even on the fabric. I did followed the instructions and had no air bubbles but I did notice iron marks when I held it up to the light. So I repeated the instructions placing my iron in different positions than before and that removed them.

I used Pellon Fuse Vinyl to "waterproof" my kitchen chair and so far it has worked very well.This product was a little difficult to iron on in long strips but could be very easy for smaller projects. If I could change one thing in the way I used it, it would be to cut my fabric out first then apply the vinyl...im sure there are people reading this thinking to themselves "Well duh!" but oh well live and learn!one side of the vinyl is sticky so that it stays in place while ironing, which is super helpful.Tip #2: Iron your fabric first then apply vinyl

Really easy to apply!! My only issue with this is the shrinkage once applied. I highly recommend applying/fusing the vinyl to your fabric first and then cutting the measurements you need.

I used this vinyl on the linings for two cosmetic bags. On my first attempt, I believe I left my iron on the paper a bit too long, resulting in a harder, crackly vinyl. Learning from my mistake, I removed the iron sooner next time, and am very pleased with the result.

It worked out great for my makeup bags and was easy to use and put on. I think it will last for a while too.

I think it's a bit pricey for the amount you get, but it does work as described

je ne connaissais pas ce produit, j'ai donc testé sur un fat, et bien c'est génial ! mon joli tissu est devenu imperméable tout en gardant sa finesse. je peux donc le coudre sans problème, ma machine ne souffre pas et j'obtiens un intérieur de pochette ou de sac anti tache ! c'est une super invention, par contre un peu cher mais bon vu le prix d'une toile enduite, ça revient au même, et du coup, on a le choix de son tissu !!
