Septic Tanks Owners Best Helper
The Bio Enzyme Septic Safe is nothing short of a miracle worker. We were battling issues with our kitchen sink drain, washing machine drain, and a stubborn toilet that just wouldn't flush properly. Frustration was an understatement. After a single shock treatment left it overnight with this septic-safe solution, the results were astonishing. Clogs disappeared, drains flowed, and the toilet flushed again. The difference was nothing short of remarkable. Now, we make it a regular habit to use this bio-enzyme solution every three months to prevent any further plumbing headaches. It's become our secret weapon to maintain a smoothly running household. If you're grappling with drain troubles, this product is a must-try. It's safe, effective, and incredibly reliable.Because we dont have city sewage but have our own septic tank, we have to be very careful how we treat any clogged drain. We have to make sure we maintain the bio-balance in the tank.

Enzymatic-, microbial-mechanisms work; snake-oil formulations NOT
We’d spent $1000s on RotaRooter and others pumping, cleaning pipes, and otherwise treating our 22 year-old septic system. Nothing worked for more than a month or so. Thus, faced with $10K or, more realistically, $20K+ to replace the tank and drain field we searched Internet and my barber shop customers. This led us to EcoStrong's Septic Liberator shock treatment, Amazon Basics Septic Treatment, and BioMicrobics, all of which we ordered from Amazon.Amazon Basics Septic Treatment worked an almost immediate, frankly miraculous, cure on our chronic septic tank drain-field issues. First time—I thought… HOW is all the volume of product going to into our slow toilet. But, when I lushed the product down the toilet nearest the septic tank, ALL that stuff went right in… and Just like that… our septic system worked perfectly. I applied another pack of the Amazon Basics Septic Treatment a couple weeks later.Recently, I noted the return date for EcoStrong's Septic Liberator shock treatment was 10th of March. So… thought, let’s give this a chance, go ahead and use the product— after all, it is similar in treatment mechanism to the Amazon Basics Septic Treatment. MISTAKE… took us hours to mix the productI am a Professor of Microbiology / Biochemistry PhD [UT Austin], in USA and Asian institutions whose career focused on understanding the biochemical, enzymatic, and microbial mechanisms behind such products. They work: ALL have at least potential to remediate septic system issues.BUT…. the enzymes and microbes must be delivered efficiently to the septic tank and drain system. In my opinion this is where Amazon Basics Septic Treatment worked, but EcoStrong's Septic Liberator shock treatment failed, and perhaps exacerbated the problem. After spending hours mixing the product per instructions of EcoStrong's Septic Liberator, we ended up with a clogged system principally because of the clay[or sand?] delivery formulation, which clogged our system. After most of our Saturday, we are still hoping for this to resolve.

Be patient, it works!
So we just bought a house. Stuff bteaks, first house and whatnot. Septic tank cover falls in, we dunno why and now we need a whole new tank. Owned the place a month, so that sucks. Guy comes and tells us its not draining fast enough and we'll probably need a 15k drain field too. We're furious, but it isnt his fault. He says he'll give it a little while to be sure. We dropped a jug of this in there and a month later, it was draining faster and there was no standing water in the yard. We added a second after six weeks to get it where it needs to be, but it definitely worked.

I stirred for 2 1/2 hours
I followed the directions with the 5 lb mix, and kept coming back and stirring every 10 minutes or so, again, and again, and again, and again over 2 1/2 hours. The bran or whatever the transport medium is NEVER dissolves. I've always got a 1 1/2 inch bottom of sludge in the 5 gallon pail no matter how long I work the solution. Warm water just like the directions say. I had a bit of a problem with adding so much solid to the tank and drainfield. I got most of it in, but just wouldn't bring myself to dump that last solid mass left in the bottom of the bucket, into the tank. The solution bubbled as the bacteria and enzymes seemed to start to wake up. Left the remainder in the bucket overnight. Lots of bubbly action the next morning, but no breakdown of the bran medium. I stirred it again repeatedly and put the remaining solution in, minus the inch of heavy sludge in the bottom. We'll see if this perks up a slightly slow drainfield. It's working fine, just moving a little slow. Trying to get it running well before tropical storm season here in Florida saturates the ground.

So far so good!
My leech field was seemingly saturated and was causing standing water in the lawn. I bought this is May 2024, it's currently July 2024 and the wet spots have cleared up. I mixed with water, as directed, and poured directly into the septic tank. I'll amend this review if the seeping returns.Edit; Oct 1, after days of rain and numerous loads of laundry this week, I'm happy to say the the lawn is still in great shape!

THIS PRODUCT IS ABSOLUTE TRASH!!!!!
Spent $175.00 on a garbage product. I followed the instructions exactly like it says and all I ended up with was dirty looking water and a mound if powder at the bottom of the bucket. No matter how much I mixed it would not dissolve. I even used a drill mixer which did nothing. Don't be stupid like I was and waste your money
