Works well
I loved everything about it. Only negative would have to be the slight orange peel look it leaves after but overall a great film and I’m looking to buy a second 20’ roll this week. I would recommend this film to others most definitely. It’s easy to work with and I’ve got the stretching down after some trial and error and I’m happy with the resultsEdit: about a year and a half later after installing this on my BMW’s hood and bumper. Still going strong , no yellowing , not peeling off. I’d say my install was performed correctly.

It seems to back up its claims with some exceptions
Complete noob to ppf but have been wanting to try some ever since I found out about it. I'm much too cheap to pay a professional thousands for a ppf wrap and decided to try myself. I got almost enough to cover my whole car for about the same price as a small roll of the other brands so here's what I found:Application: this material is soft and fairly thin, (more on that later) but that does make it fairly easy to manipulate. Wash the car twice, wet the surrounding area down and install indoors in a closed garage with washed hands and lint free clothes if you can. Dust and dirt likes to stick to the film and it becomes statically charged when you remove the backing so it is like a magnet. Buy a good pressure spray bottle so you can keep a lot of slip solution on hand and apply one handed quickly to everything (car, material , your hands) constantly, like every 30 seconds. The adhesive still sticks like crazy though, to the point where if it touches itself it will stick, no matter how much slip solution you use. On the plus side, I was able to separate the stuck material without any visible damage so it is forgiving in that way.Wet application is the only way to go with this material and it will take a sharp knife to cut and some squeegees to get it down and the bubbles out. On the bright side it does smooth easily and no problem with sticking to the panel. The negatives are that I haven't quite figured out compound curves with this material. Some heat helps to stretch it, but that seems to create fingers elsewhere, an assistant might help with stretching in 2 directions, doing it myself was difficult to heat and stretch at the same time. I did get it to conform acceptably but not perfectly. Not sure if it is the material or me. If you have a problem spot like a door handle or body line some gentle heat will help it stretch and stick once you displace the slip solution underneath. Too much heat will damage the material so keep the heat very low and even and just take your time with the material. There will be some small water pockets and air bubbles after installation. I can't imagine it is avoidable with this material, because it sticks so well that if your squeegee glides over a spot or in body lines there will be a residual water pocket that may turn to air bubbles. On the bright side after 2 or 3 warm days most smaller pockets will disappear and after a month of good weather most will be gone. If you have a really bad air or water pocket you can apply some pressure to enlarge the bubble and use a small needle to barely puncture the bubble and force most air and water out. After a few more days in warm temperatures it should be completely gone. I don't think this is good stuff to apply in the wintertime because I wouldn't want the trapped water to freeze before it evaporates and potentially damages the paint or film.Hydrophobics/maintenance: The water repellent properties are very impressive, (see photo) I'd say equivalent to a good coat of fresh wax. I did try using spray detailer on it to see if it left residue, it didn't seem to, but it might be a good idea to try a small spot to see first before applying to the entire film. From what I've read the film will need some upkeep with washing and detailing so it isn't a complete solution but helps reduce odds of casual damage. It will need removal and replacement in a few years though so that is a downside so hopefully there will be no issues when it comes time for removal.Protection -this is the primary reason I bought and installed. I did find some damage to the film and paint on one of the doors, most likely a stone chip (see photo) so that was disappointing. The film is tough and stretchy though so it must have been a very sharp rock or hit at just the right angle or speed. For casual protection against scratches and swirl marks it should be just fine. It does leave an orange peel finish on the vehicle, so it isn't perfectly flat but otherwise it is invisible to the casual onlooker.Altogether I am happy with it and think it is a worthwhile investment to help protect your car from everyday hazards. Will it stop a large rock or a door ding? No. It might save you from a small chip or scratch from an errant belt buckle or metal button, and definitely eliminate paint damage when washing off dirt and debris as part of regular car care. I wouldn't take this through an automatic car wash because high pressure spray will probably dislodge the seams unless you are able to get them to adhere perfectly, and even then I have read stories online of professionally installed ppf failing in car washes.

Look else where
The film was thick and durable and seemed to be decent quality. However, the film does not like to stretch at all even with a heat gun. Granted this was my first time installing ppf so I thought it might have been user error. This was not the case since I successfully installed a different ppf film on my car. The new film was a lot easier to work with and adhesion was 10x better than this film.I say this film is only good on flat surfaces. Other than that look else where

Affordable and perfect for DYI to protect your beautiful cars
I used this on 3 Model 3s and 2 Model Ys for myself, sis & bro. Warm weather helps. A small steamer helps with stretching. Lots of help from wife & children. A full coverage of a Model 3/Y requires >30ft. Cuts down car washes. Still happy to look at even >1yr after installation. Fully recommended for DYI (remember to watch YouTube videos for instructions/ideas)

Amazing quality, even more amazing price!!
I own a business in Utah that specializes in vehicle wraps and ppf. I have only been buying the highest quality ppf to install on my customers vehicles. I've worked with ppf for years and know what subpar film looks and feels like. This film surprised me because it feels and looks identical to the high quality film I've been buying but at a fraction of the price. I installed it on this Audi S7 and it turned out beautiful! I'm not sure how they did it but this film for the price is the deal of the century!!! I hope they keep it in stock indefinitely! I will be buying much much more!

Worth It!
I was skeptical given the price as I had previously bought two rolls for twice the price. But, they perform exactly the same and are the same 6 mil thickness. If you know how to install, you won’t be disappointed.
