Good...but...
I'm happy with this product, but I would say don't expect it to be good to go out the box. The positive is that it gets really hot, and has a good tall chimney so smoke is not an issue. I love the design as it's like an indoor stove. However it's far too low to do anything than warm your feet, that's an issue. Having built a base for it to sit on its perfect but that adds another £100 to what was spent on the stove. Had I known that I may well of considered a different heater but as it is I'm happy and it is an excellent product, just do consider the height (or lack of it).

Wood burning stove
Bought this stove about 18 months ago.Installed in my shed (6 mtrs x3mtrs). Have fired it up at least 15 times.temp.in shed approx.12.C. Within 15 minutes, temperature gets up to 26.C.works a treat..(I took the flue through the side wall).. Minimum fuel and great heat output.. cannot fault in any way..

Cheap quality, dangerous !
I used this in my bell tent and the glass cracked after 1 use and it completely smoked out the tent so I had to keep the doors and windows open which made the tent colder than it was without the burner !I couldn’t sleep / sit in the tent with this burner in fear of carbon monoxide poisoningCheap quality, worth investing in a good one if you value your safety !

Perfect for VanLife
This was bought after seeing it in another project build. The requirements for us where a smaller scale burner that still had a tray for ash and the ability to heat things on top like a kettle. This boi has wings even! Perfect smaller scale for a corner or even on a heat proof side surface, and beats the price of so many we were looking at.Ideally you want to add some heat proof rope to the door for a better sealz but that's £10.. an easy add.

Hot tent indeed
This is a must have in a hot tent set up. Keeps the tent warm. You will have to wake up to add more logs to the burner but it does generate a lot of heat and can also use the top of boil water etc. very good for those cold nights in the tent.

Practice needed but an effective heat source
So, I've been on two trips with this stove. At first I made the mistake of using briquettes to burn - DON'T DO THAT! They burn far too hot or they go out if you close the air inlet. Then what happens is the flue pipe glows BRIGHT red and makes really scary cracking noises and the tent is unbearably hot. It was a very nervous time so I cowered from it. When I used normal wood, I could fire it up and then turn the temp down by reducing air inlets. But you still get a slightly red crackling flue pipe but not so bad. I wasn't expecting this but the flue diameter is very small so its not like a home stove. It needs almost constant attendance because you can't put large logs in and relax. Don't overdo it!I also don't like (or understand) the tiny holes around the top disc plate. Smoke escapes and can fill your tent when the fire dies down. It isn't so much as to be alarming but too much to sleep with it. I open the tent in 2 places to get a through draft to lessen this but you do lose heat. I can't imagine what I'd do if it was really cold as in autumn because you need a lot of airflow throughout the tent because of that smoke. No good if you have a chest problem. It boils up a kettle well on top if you stoke it up to max.The design is excellent for portability- not too heavy, everything easily packs away quickly. Put it on a hearth of some sort (I have short wooden planks) to prevent your floor getting too hot.I am overall happy with this stove but would have liked better instructions on what to burn and what to expect. My burning flue episode did freak me out! Also after 4 uses, the air inlet wheel is now stuck solid and needs fixing. It's a bit flimsy and is gunked up with soot now. Could have been designed better so as not to stick. I use small pliers to close/open it. It's a lovely cute little stove when you get used to it. Practice needed!
