This product does not work. Very poor quality material. It does not heat up properly meaning it takes too long. It was 18° this morning and snow when ice it did not perform at all, the only thing that worked properly where's the little light that is on the top of the scraper. I'm returning it for a refund.

Works so well. The ice just melts with no effort at all. Love this product.

I do wish this item heated up faster; I'm not crazy about standing around in the cold waiting for it to be hot enough to melt the ice.

Not for a gift. He seems to enjoy it and glad to have it.

It does what it is supposed to.I've used a couple of times already this season.The tool is made of plastic and is somewhat sturdy.It has an extending handle of which houses the cord. It is not very easy to extend the handle nor is it as sturdy so I opt not use the extension feature. I wrap the cord around the handle after use. Must turn on light to activate heating element. Makes sense, but I though just plugging it in activated the heating element. This is not specified in the instructions.This is my first tool of this sort and it is a decent product.Aestheticly it looks nice. In your hand it feels of low quality. Heavier duty plastic and easier extension mechanism would be a good upgrade to this product. A heat resistant sleeve to store product in after use may add value.

My son bought this for me as a Christmas gift. The designed-in problems are in the name of safety, so I understand that. It doesn't charge, it has to be plugged in to work. the cord is long enough to do the job, and the car has to be running in order for the thing to work. So those are things that, while inconvenient, I understand. You wouldn't want it draining your car battery when the car is not in use, and you wouldn't want it to be accidentally on when you park the car and walk away. Got it. The two features that are truly bothersome are 1) if you extend the handle, you can't lay the scrapping surface down all the way on the windshield because the handle is banana-shaped. 2) Perhaps I should have mentioned this first, but it doesn't actually generate enough heat to do the job, so basically, it doesn't work.
