Not a product I would recommend
Definitely not impressive as waffle irons/makers go. Doesn't really get hot enough to make waffles that are crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Also, the grooves are not deep enough to really call it a waffle. It is more like a fancy pancake cooker. I would not recommend this product if you are a waffle conniseour.

Will look for another brand!
I got to try this waffle maker because I work in a shop where they sell such products. As people said here these are wafers rather than waffles but they can be awfully tasty, sprinkled with icing sugar. You can also use them to decorate your ice creams and of course you can also serve them with cream and berries, as you would waffles. I personally have served them as biscuits, so far. You have to use the highest setting or else it will take ages to make one waffle (wafer or whatever). It is not easy to calculate how much dough you need to fill the whole plate. I didn't have any problems with dough coming out through the sides but the récipe that comes with the device, which is the only one I tried, although very tasty (Rum Waffles, which are named Sand Waffles, God know why) has so much butter that I had to clean up the butter in between baking. Next time I will use 150g of butter instead of 200g. Would I buy this waffle maker again? No, I surely wouldn't, sorry. There must be better ones around... also the fact that you can't take out the plates in order to wash them is a pain. Are such thinner waffles worth making? Sure, they are really lovely!
