Excellent value for money, good quality, may need some work to make it fit
This mudguard is incredible value for money and works great. I recently upgraded to a Trek Marlin 5 and the first time I took it on the muddy trails around my house I got mud everywhere - including splashing onto my my face! This bike has 29" wheels and 2.2" wide tyres so I was unsure of getting a mudguard to fit. I didn't want one with a front mudguard that mounted under the top of the fork stem as there are lots of reports about how bad they are, also they stick out loads - especially the front half. This one fitted, but it needed a bit of work. I used threadlock on all the nuts to ensure they stayed in place. I had to make sure the rear mudguard wasn't too close to the tyre as you can see from the photos. The front mudguard would have rubbed against the tyre if I'd used the stock mount as it was intended. Instead, I dremeled off the rivets holding the mounting bracket to the front mudguard (only a rotary tool or file will work as the rivets are so lose a drill just spins them). Then I rotated the mount 180 degrees and used a couple of M5 bolts and nuts to mount it instead of the rivets. Then I used a longer bolt than provided and a nylock nut with washer to mount it to the front bracket.I've taken it out on a muddy, bumpy path twice now and it worked really well - no mud anywhere except a few splashes below my knees. It has all stayed nicely in place too - which I assume had something to do with the threadlock! :-)

Easy to fit
Easy to fit, good value, make sure everything is tightened up. Not long enough really, still get sprayed up the back, so I added 3D printed mudflaps and fastened them to the ends, great now!

Simple easy fit mudguards
Needed some mudguards for both my boys bikes. These are easy to fit and do the job. They do need a bit of adjustment before use depending on storage. One keeps coming undone so will have to fit a different type of nut. A cheaper option reflects the product

Does not contain all parts needed to fit AND snapped within days. Do not buy.
EDIT: Other than the missing nuts, the rear bracket snapped within a couple of days of it being on the bike.Just avoid this brittle cheap rubbish. Returning for a refund.BEFORE EDIT: The rear guard fixes to the frame via an adjustable bracket. In the kit you get three screws/bolts, but there's only two holes for these to connect the rear guard to the bracket, but the nuts required (which you would expect to be inserted in the bracket already) are missing so you cannot attach the guard to the bracket unless you happen to have two correctly sized nuts. Thankfully, I have a decent selection of nuts and bolts and found some nuts that fit the supplied bolts and fit inside the captive holes in the bracket. I'd say this is why some other reviews mention the screw holes are too small for the screws but they didn't realise it's actually missing two nuts to fix with. Poor quality control.

Cheap, only good for emergency.
I bought these only because I could not find a more expensive pair that I knew would fit my bike. They are quite easy to install. however I immediately was unimpressed by the size of them as they narrow quite quickly and are only partially effective. Having been using them for a month now I am considering getting rid of them as they simply do not stay in the position I want. They have several tightening nuts but no matter how tight I tighten them, whenever I go over a bump, the rear guard always seems to go down and end up rubbing on the rear wheel which pretty much makes them ineffective. For what they cost I don't feel like was completely robbed but I do not recommend if you can spend a bit more.
