Good quality and can be used for ford f150

Horrible product as it does not do what it was intended to do. My order arrived on June 18. On the 19th we installed it in our truck. Before we installed it, we washed the area down very well and we even used alcohol to clean up any left over residue. I will give the company bonus marks as it was easy to install, but we did not buy it for its ease of installation. We bought the tape to keep dust out of the bed of our truck. In less that 2 weeks, the adhesion has become unstuck. The only thing that seem to keep the tape in place is by keeping the tailgate closed. But even with that, it does a very poor job of keeping the dust out of the bed of the truck as you can see by the photo. The dust in the photo is from 15 minutes on a gravel road. Seriously? While we did not expect there to be no dust, we didn't think we had to remove everything and wash out the bed of the truck. Not something I want to do EVERY time we go on a gravel road. It totally defeats the purpose of using tailgate tape. I guess the only bonus to buying this product is that it will be extremely easy to remove, because it did not stick in the first place.

The seal itself is a high quality seal, and the adhesive really bonded well to the truck, but the seal is so tight that I really have to slam the tailgate shut on my 2018 F150 now, whereas I used to be able to just close it lightly with just a couple fingers. On top of that, it's so tight when closed that I'm starting to get concerned that I'm bending things inside the tailgate latch mechanism when I'm trying to open it again.... oh, and the dust from the gravel roads still finds a way in, coating the box and everything in it that's under the toneau cover. Not worth my time and money.

By mistake I reviewed the ESI weatherstripping thinking it was this product. Already ask Amazon to remove the ESI review I made.Truxseal really worth the money, great adhesive material and fit perfectly on my F150 tailgate.

I used this on my 2019 Ford f-150 with a spray-in box liner. It's less than 30 bucks and installs easy and sticks great, so far. If they would include 2 manufactured corner pieces to incorporate into the corners, this would work much better.Enough material is included to cut a small piece to test the positioning before you put the strips on. The seal needed to be angled toward the tailgate at the top of the box as the gap widens. As they recommend, only lightly press the seal down as it is easier to move and adjust because once you press it down, it sticks. I cleaned my liner very well but the little alcohol cleaning pad didn't last for the whole area (you use it after cleaning with soap and water).This seal won't last long if you drag items in and out of the box over it so you will need to be careful with any items that may drag on it. But for the price, another could be purchased and installed.

I have a 2014 Ram 1500 with a Tuxedo Tonneau cover that is great. This thing doesn’t work well with the Ram. The lower strip edge prevents the tailgate from closing-unless you trim 2/3 off of it. The bits on the side have to be installed in 3 pieces on each side. Tough to fill in the gaps in the Ram tailgate. Haven’t had it on long enough to see if it keeps the dust etc out of the back. I suspect this project was a waste of time and money.
