I really takes the build up off your iron. The smell is not offensive and it's easy to use. Just make sure you use several layers of paper towels otherwise it might soak through onto the ironing board cover.

This product works like magic. So many of my clothes were damaged due to the residue on the iron but this product cleaned the iron and made it like new.

I was not sure this product would work. I had to put some hand work in. It took a while for the iron to come clean but it did work.

I didn't think to take a pic of the "before" cleaning of my steam iron, but there was a pretty good-sized black/caked on scorched area, which is weird given I don't often use this particular iron, have never "burned" any fabric on it, and only use distilled water.At first, I thought the produce didn't work, as I followed the directions but nothing changed. However, not wanting to give up, I just kept repeating the process and rubbing vigorously. Ended up using the entire tube (which is small) but my iron was sparkly clean afterwards. The package says don't be alarmed as product will smoke. Boy, did it ever! It almost looked like I was having a campfire cookout in the bedroom! Initially, I didn't realize the extent as I was hell-bent on getting the iron clean. The smoke is fairly odorless. Still, I would definitely recommend using in a well-ventilated space. Unfortunately, on this day, I had to have my windows closed. I also think that the amount of smoke generated was due to the degree of the caked on mess and my having to engage in the process for so long. I don't think this would occur for shorter-duration applications, but that said, would not repeat the process again without having windows open!

Wow! This iron cleaner did a fantastic job. It did better than expected. Don’t expect a good cleaning with just a couple of runs. Keep at it with a very hot, steamless setting and rub the iron on the towel on the edge of the ironing board for maximum pressure. Squeeze some cleaner and rub the iron over the edge on the towel. Keep doing this. It really cleans!

Stains on the surface of my steel iron comes off easily. It builds well on a piece of rag and it does not create a mess. It removes stains once the iron reaches a high heat level and is applied on the surface of the rag. It gives the customer great value for the money spent. It is not too big; it comes in a good size. It does not take too long to remove stains.
