Good home bench - for beginners / intermediate
OK so Ive been using Gyms for 15yrs+, and since lockdown I needed a home bench.I settled on this one for cost, and availability. Overall, if you want a basic home bench to get started with weights, or maintain where you at then this is a good bench. If you are already lifting heavy and really want to push yourself, then this aint the bench for you.Im 6.2', 90kgs, and benching 70-100kgs and its all fits / works fine - the hand grip position is the main issue as covered below.Pros' - very easy to build, took about 30 mins. - Sturdy, it doesn't wobble or shake when in use like other home benches I've used. - Dip handles are a nice addition - folds away easy to save space - Quick delivery - was about 10days faster than stated on Amazon.Cons - The support bars for holding the barbell, are in the exact place you want to hold the bar, meaning that you have to adjust your grip once you have lifted the bar. This is not great, and prevents you from going to your max weight. - One of the support bars was damaged - the metal is bent, its only cosmetic, but looks like a factory defect and is a little annoying.- Overpriced - though not as much as most. With covid 19 all gym equipment costs a bomb now, I have seen similar benches to this online for £150 - £300. Really I would say that this is worth £40-£50 but given the circs, I was happy to pay £80.- The 'incline' mode is a little poor. Rather than the end of the bench where you head is being raised, you just drop the end of the bench where you but is, meaning you end up half on the floor. Not ideal, however until the gyms reopen it will do for now.Ultimately it is an average HOME gym bench, that I don't regret buying. However if you are expecting the kind of bench that you use in the gym, this is not it. Dont expect to be lifting more that 100kgs on this... however if you are new to weight lifting then this is a great starting bench.

False economy
I’m 6” and weigh 100kg. I find this bench too small and uncomfortable to use. It’s manageable but not ideal. No different to a cheaper bench my brother has which he purchased for £50 on eBay. I payed the extra money for this bench because of the description stating heavy duty etc. It’s not any more sturdy than my brothers bench. The incline position is useless, I don’t have any space for my legs in this position! The barbell racks are too close to each other, they’re in the natural place you would want to grip the bar when benching but you can’t so you go for a less comfortable close or wider grip.I wish I had just purchased a proper professional rack and free standing bench. There are too many compromises with this bench.

Compact and sturdy
I found it easy to put together. Take your time, unpack it all first and read the instructions... It's not hard.It is surprisingly light and easy to move. Folds nicely and is good if, like me, you have limited space. It's quite sturdy and well made. One downside. If you're tall/very big I'm not sure this is the right bench for you. Being 5' 8' it's OK for me. I bought it for my chest workout and it's great for that.

Good value for money and purpose. Only few silly design faults
I've had this bench for over a day so far and I love it. Don't let be fooled... this bench is good what what it's supposed to be which is for exercises. It's great value for money and looks solid. It took 20 mins to set up.However, I did notice a bit of silly design, thought it's the only reason why its a 4 start. Basically, when the bench is closed (upward position), you wont be able to fix the barbell with pins. I tried reversing the metal panel but then you wont be able to close the bench.Neverthelerss, it's a good value for money and definitely worth for home gym!

Good entry-level bench
This weight bench is by no means a professional gym item, however, it’s ideal for a beginner, with a medium build, who wants to do some general exercise at home. It’s sturdy and easy to assemble. It doesn’t take up much space and can be folded away after use, which is great for storage. I have a 55lbs barbell which this entry-level bench holds well.

Excellent quality bench for flat bench exercises.
The bench arrived very quickly (next day) and is a good solid bench; not too difficult to put together, and for the money a great bench. However, I was looking for a bench that can be adjusted to an incline position, which I found this bench couldn’t do correctly. There’s 2 hooks for an incline bar to go, but this is nowhere near enough room for my head to go below the barbell. For this reason I will be returning. The bench in general though can’t be knocked; for the money it’s very good value. Unfortunately incline is a necessity for me, but if you’re only looking to flat bench, this is the bench for you.

Good for it’s price
Easy to assemble with little to no effort. I would recommend having a second person assist with it however, some parts are tedious to assemble. Overall the build is very solid and can easily hold a number of weight. I use mine daily and only noticed some minor scratching from where the weight is set upon (it has textured grips)

Good value
Can’t fault it really for the price. The delivery came very quickly, the packaging was very professional and everything was very well laid out within in order to assemble the product. I didn’t really struggle to put it together on my own and they include all the necessary tools to do so, however they do recommend 2 people and it probably would have been easier with an extra hand. The product itself is good, it’s very sturdy. I couldn’t see it in the description but within the product it says 120kg max person and 200kg combined max weight. If I had any complaint it would be as others have said that the barbell rack is right where you would want to grab the bar making it a little awkward. Also the foot straps on the bench itself (if you wanted to use it for inclined sit ups) isn’t adjustable or elasticated so I have no idea how you’re supposed to get your feet under it! Those small things aside I think this is very good value for money as an entry level weights bench, it in no way feels like a cheap product.
