Love this steriliser, works perfectly and so quickly, great size for both the bottles and accessories and is easy to use and clean. A lot of people in the reviews complain about the scaling in the bottom but first of all, use filtered water! Secondly its going to scale up regardless just like your kettle does, its going to need descaling every so often as expected! More frequently so if you use tap water of course… great value for money especially if you purchase from your baby wishlist with added discount! Highly recommend

I'm very happy with this product. I've been using it for seven months and haven't had any problems with it. It's very easy to use and quiet, runs in 10 minutes, and my bottles are ready. The only problem is that it does get limescale, even though I use filtered water, but that's probably due to hard water. A quick wipe is all it takes, and it's nice and clean again.

I bought this to replace a Tommee Tippee steam steriliser which had decided to warp and had therefore become unsafe in my opinion. This is an expensive steam steriliser, but you get what you pay for (although you could plump for the older style AVENT steam steriliser which would still be as effective, although not as compact). The '3-in-1' refers to the ability to stack the 2 baskets singly or together - the smaller basket is intended to be used for teats, dummies/pacifiers, and breast pump parts, whilst the larger basket accommodates deeper items such as 6 bottles. Although the advertised product has a clear plastic small basket and lid, the product I received has a translucent plastic small basket and lid (you definitely cannot see through these!) There is a single switch to turn the steam steriliser on - you know that the unit is activated by a small orange indicator light (you cannot use this switch to turn the unit off, however). All that you need to do is pour 100ml of water into the reservoir in the base unit, press the switch, and the sterilisation process takes 6 minutes, plus 3 minutes to allow for cool-down (sterilised parts are very hot!) It is very easy to dismantle and clean this steriliser (the reservoir can be descaled with a mix of water and white vinegar), and the whole unit is nice and compact so doesn't take up too much workspace in the kitchen. You can fit 6 AVENT bottles easily in this unit, although it will accommodate other brands of bottle (e.g. Tommee Tippee 'Closer to Nature').

It takes just 6 bottles at a time. Easy to use and clean. The bottles remain wet until you get them out to clean. I wish it dried the bottles after sterilizing but it works fine.

Lid warps each time the sterilisers heats up. Twisting the lid so it is not sealed, and therefore not sterile. Also if you like having a wet crotch, this the steriliser for you. Every time you lift the unit to refill the water, you are drenched by the condensed steam. Would chalk this up to user error, however we had a much older model of this given to us for free. We liked it so much we gave to the grandparents and bought the latest model for ourselves. Turns out we shouldn’t have bothered. New is not always better.

A must have for all working moms especially wen u use breast pumps and feeding bottles - this is d best and easiest way to sterilize them..not to forget the feeding bowls and spoons wen u wean d children. Sterilizes in 6 to 10 minutes. Cleaning and maintenance is very easy.(vinegar +water) Saves a lot of time and energy.can sterilize and use it later provided the unit is left closed till use(unlike boiling where u hav to sterilize immediately before use). Videos are available in youtube where u can watch how to use this.new moms watch them and get mesmerized. I should say this is a boon for working moms. Very good quality too. I hav been using it since the 5th month of my baby.now he is 15 months..the product is easily portable and definitely adorable. The only shortcoming is the length of the cord which is too small.i hav been using an extension box & hence it was overcome too. U can go for it blindly.
