I don’t see why not. They are not advertised as sterile as far as I can tell. I use them to clean watch dials when I service them. They are soft but durable with a firm handle. Hope this helps.

Is it safe to use to clean inside of drinking water faucet?

I have used these for many different purposes, there is no soap or solvent in them. Just put the cleaner you want to clean your faucet and clean away. The water will wash off any cleaner residue left init.
