The Monster Makers RD-407 Mask Making Latex (1 Gallon)

A product with many years of history and high quality behind it. Monster Makers is possibly still the only company making this specific formula of liquid latex. It's like the coca cola of rubbers. Its secret is the lack of fillers found in lesser quality latex, there is only three ingredients in this mix. Its strong enough for old school thick rubber masks and delicate enough for thin slip cast prosthetics. I even use this as glue and sealant. Easily thinnable with ammonia or alternatively distilled water since those are the other two ingredients. This is professional material at an affordable price.

Excellent liquid latex for corpsing skeletons, prop making, or making appliances. It’s thin, but not too thin. Dries fairly quickly. Keep old tightly closed, and store in cool area. I’ve bought this 3x, and I’ve never received a solid, or thickened batch that was useless. The smell isn’t bad at all. Easy to use. I brushed it on. You could probably thin it down and spray it, but I’ve never tried.

I have never worked with liquid latex before this is my first time purchasing it. I like that it’s very easy to use. It’s not too thick not too runny. I made my first bodysuit for a Halloween costume. The quality of the liquid latex once it dries, makes the suit look so realistic. I would definitely recommend this brand for beginners.

I use this product to create some unique latex masks. If you enjoy making masks, there is nothing better. Just wish the delivery cost wasnt so high.

Been working on a mask and decided to try the latex route. I've never done anything before with this type of project and was a bit unsure how to go about it. This product though is very easy to work with and easy to clean up. (This might go for all liquid latex, but am not sure). The only issue I encountered with this would be brown spots in the completed item and the liquid form. It most likely just needed to be mixed a bit prior to use (I didn't mix it) according to the representative I talked to. That said, what I'm using it for will be painted, so it's a non-issue. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone wanting to make a mask or costume with latex. It's oddly fun to use.

Great product for the latex mask maker. It has a pleasant smell once it has dried. I will definitely buy more once I run low.

LOVE this latex! It works perfectly for making head props. I usually watter it down a bit (3 spoons full of latex, 2 spoons full of water) and its still thick after that! next time im definitely ordering the 5 gallon bucket from they're website.
