lucidity of a mystery organ
I loved this beautifully illustrated friendly book based on the curiosity of a cute little girl riding in a park. It uses simple association to clarify complex workings of our brain. Congratulations to the author. I recommend this book highly to any curious individual regardless of age.

Purchased from UB but want to share that it's great!
I actually purchased this book directly from an UB sale someone I know was having, but we all know here is the place people really check reviews, yes? Anyway, got it to go along with our home schooling arsenal. Our seven and five year old kiddos love this book and ask me to read it to them. They think the busy neurons are funny. It breaks concepts down into a storyline small kids can follow. It's allowed me to talk with them about how we learn and why some habits are more helpful than others for helping your brain to work it's best.

A joyous journey through the brain
This is a brilliant book. I bought it for my niece who is currently 3 and half but I plan to give her the book close to her 6th birthday. I love the careful illustrations, and the bond between the girl of the story and the Owl. The book encourages curiosity in the young reader - it shows that asking questions is very important and is part of gathering knowledge! I feel like I have learnt from the anecdotes as well - about emotions, about habits. Truly a little gem for the little ones!

Inspiring book
Our whole family really loved the book. It was enjoyed equally by a 6 year old, a 9 year old and by the grown ups. It was both easy to understand and fun to read. It teaches science in a very exciting way.
