Diamond of California, Shelled Walnuts, 16 Ounce

This brand has a good fresh taste. Much better than others I've tried.

These came in and are very fresh, and about a dollar cheaper than my grocery store has them on sale.Sometimes I just eat a few or we put them in salads, but I love them in brownies, cookies, carrot cake and banana bread. These do come in pieces but they are nice size chunks- perfect just as they are to go in most foods that I use them in.I have made a walnut pie (just like a pecan pie but with walnuts) and it was very good too.I will probably buy these on Amazon from now on. It's a good value.

California's Delicious Diamond Walnuts, delicious and nutritious snack right out of the bag, taste even better if toasted - (on a baking sheet in a preheated 350*F oven, for 8 minutes. Watch closely so you don't burn them.) Less than half of the pieces are intact walnut halves, attractive enough for decorative use as a top to a cookie or other dishes. You can search for a bag of "Walnut Halves" if that is what you need. For storage, best to keep in a tightly sealed bag or container in the fridge. For longer term storage, store in tightly sealed container in freezer.

I got a nice, fresh, crunchy bag full of plump walnut halves... As good a value as if I had gone to my market, actually. I dove right in and had a few handfuls before I had to stop myself and remember I needed them for some recipes!!YUMMY!

What a great product. Also when I purchased these it seems strange but the chopped up ones cost more than the full-size ones. I would rather have a full-size one and find something significant when I’m eating that a bunch of pieces that may just blend in with everything. So I save money and buy the full-size Romo house. It’s a great product and I have a little bit of extra crunch to your breakfast and everyone says how healthy walnuts are. What a great product. Great quality, no bits of shell! Mine were fresh and meaty. All nuts now are pricey, but for the money these were worth it for my holiday baking...and sneaking a few for my private treat!

Walnuts are extremely good for your body. While they are high in calories, they contain very high levels of heart healthy fatty acids, and they also taste very good. The downside is, of course, the price, but they are much less expensive on Amazon than in stores. Next time you place an order, grab a few bags of these and stick them in the freezer. With Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up, walnuts can be used in a multitude of ways.

Wow! This is a fantastic bag of walnuts. Really fresh and most of them are halfs. Big taste walnuts. Really big bag with lot of flavor and freshness. Highly recommend.
