Handles are NOT laminated or rosewood
These handles are nothing like described. They are neither laminated nor rosewood. I have older versions of these knives and the handles are beautiful laminated resin impregnated rosewood. They are bulletproof and still beautiful even though the blades are worn. I thought I would get a new set in stainless steel. But I was truly disappointed when these arrived. Absolute crap in comparison to my older knives. I find it hard to believe that they were made in the USA. It is really sad. I returned them all.

Rosewood is stain color not wood used. Needs a little tweaking to get it to perform well.
seems to be well made. The scraper is dull so you have to sharpen it considerably before you can get any serious scraping done. The "rosewood" is just the color of the stain. The wood underneath is white. It doesn't appear to be maple so maybe some type of off shore substitute. The handles are a little proud of the blade so they dig into your palm after awhile. I took a file and some sandpaper to it (that is how I found the white wood) and it fits my hand fine now. Blade is nice and stiff so you can lean into it.

Great tool, just don’t leave water on it
Love this tool. Opens cans, patches small drywall holes, and great for cleaning paint rollers. The only downside and reason I won’t give it 5 stars is it rusts super easily so any water that sits on it for a few hours will leave rust spots. Kind if a big downside because I don’t see how you can keep this incredibly useful tool without washing it.

Giving Made in USA a bad reputation
I am embarrassed to say this was made in the USA. This is the Warner 379 5- IN-1 Painters Tool. I can’t believe they put their name on this. I tried to email their customer service and give them an opportunity to make it right, but their server was down. Their phone support is only available on Wednesday. What a joke. It’s too bad. The steel is nice and I like the size. It’s a bit smaller than most 5 in 1 tools. I could make a nice handle for it. But I just can’t support a company that puts out this kind of garbage.

QC should be better on an American made tool.
Was not happy about the handle being misaligned. That might not bother most people, but I have a mild case of OCD. I bought this because it was American made, I did expect better. That being said, it is sturdy.

Perfect tool
I decided to get a better quality this time so it won't break or rust. This is just what I wanted. Sturdy, made in USA.

As expected.
This might be one of the last wood handled 5-in-1 tools left that you can still buy, made in the USA. The stainless steel blade is nice to have as well.
