Good Quality and effective for the price!
Due to a blemish on my new refrigerator, Lowes gave me 50% off just to keep it. I happily accepted because they refunded me nearly $1,500. I decided to try this $37 kit to see if I could make the dent less visible. The kit is surprisingly high quality for the price. The key is patience. The tab will come off after a certain amount of pull pressure is applied. This allows you to check your progress. I glued the tab on 4 times to get the dent out. The next part was much more time consuming. There was a slight bubble left from pulling the dent out. The kit comes with a rubber mallet and tools to tap the metal flat. This took me over an hour to get the metal perfectly flat as stainless steel is very unforgiving with light reflection. I was pretty happy with the result as it greatly reduced the blemish by at least 80%. Just enough not to look terrible! Great product if you are careful and have patience!

This Hot Glue actually works. So far, it's helping fix a bad repair.
I have a folded in rocker panel in the center of my car that has broken my heart. I started researching and practicing PDR to fix it. So far i've been doing quite well and it's almost completely repaired with this glue. It's the only glue that has the strength to create a strong pull to get the metal back to it's original shape. It comes at a price as it's cheap but not super cheap. Thankfully each stick is very long! Though I had to purchase a really good glue gun to properly use this stuff. But after doing so, performance has been VERY GOOD. Don't use a cheap crappy glue gun. It'll make doing PDR much easily with a quality Glue gun. I've used about 2 sticks so far and it has almost fixed the bad damage so 10 sticks should definitely be more then able to fix it. Highly recommend this stuff. Make sure you follow the requirements and exceed them for best performance! I use a 300watt glue gun that is industrial grade. Gives me more time to apply as this stuff likes to harden FAST! So far Alcohol 91% has done a great job at mostly cleaning this stuff up. Sometimes it can be a fight and this stuff is strong enough to remove paint so be careful.

quality dent remover for small dents
I read many of the reviews. The quality of the device is good. In general this is for small dents. The puller allows for incremental pull up distance . If you have big dents you will likely need a different puller. I did use the biggest tab and the puller did not have the distance to pull it up. The glue kept the tab stuck to the car and the puller was fully depressed. The tabs are good and strong. As other reviewers have mentioned it is missing instructions. I thought this was a non issue as I could look up usage on internet but there are things that only Gliston could offer insights. Here are a few: 1) What is difference between yellow and black glue sticks? Their email response said yellow is stronger - though my trial and error indicates black is stronger. 2) how long to wait for glue gun to melt? My experience is it's not long enough to wait for melt, you need to wait longer for hot. So I would think 5+ minutes. Too soon and my glue would not stick to the car it would pop off when I used the puller. Waiting longer solved it. 3) which tab to use? This is not Gliston specific but in general too small meant more work. Bigger seemed better. The downside is once pulled I usually had a bump - I still do not know how to effectively make it look flat. Getting bumps down is much much harder than pulling dents up. I would buy again but plan on spending time getting it done perfect. Pulling dents itself is rather fast. Getting it flat is still an art I have yet to master.

Heavily used and missing things. Terrible!
Terrible product. Opened, heavily used. Can’t believe they ship this product like that!! Glue sticks missing, missing parts from pullers, etc.

Take your time
It's not as effective or easy as I had hoped-- but then again, body shops exist for a reason. In the end, the spot I fixed is still visible, but not nearly as indented as before. I initially struggled with the glue popping off the car or the attachment piece popping off of the glue. The only way I could get a strong enough bond was to use enough to engulf the head of the attachment piece. The hot glue gun couldn't pump the glue fast enough so I had the most success with a heat gun. I also gave the glue longer time to set. With my final technique, it took me 3 or 4 applications to work the dent out. The mechanics of the kit work and make sense— the struggle is getting the glue to hold Removing the glue is a pain and requires a mix of heat, scraping, alcohol and wet sanding. I'm repainting this panel, so no big deal to use sandpaper— but be prepared to spend a lot of time scraping on a nice paint job.

Takes patience and perseverance but it works really well when you figure it out
If you think you’re going to buy this and pull dents like a pro on day one you might be disappointed but if the more you use it, the better you’ll get. I bought this initially to try pulling a few dents from a stainless steel refrigerator door. It didn’t go well but not because of the puller. I believe the stainless steal on the door was too soft and pliable. The puller popped the dent out but made an outward bump. I tried tapping them in and had a dent again. Before I was done it was better than when I star but not perfect. Next I tried my luck on a couple dents in my daughter’s car. It worked so much better on the car. The metal was not as responsive which actually made it work better. We had a rounded dent that popped right out was virtually invisible after 2 pulls. We had a long door ding style crease dent that we worked on for about an hour and probably pulled 20+ different times. Each pull made a little progress until we felt like we had it as good as we could get it. We buffed our the area with some 3M rubbing compound and we were amazed at how good it looked. We could find the spot but if you looked at the door you’d probably never notice it. All totaled I’ve pulled 4 dents from cars with this and have never been disappointed with the results. This works. People that say it doesn’t are either not being patient enough or aren’t using it as instructed.

Very nice product! Pulled large and small Hail Dents
First off, I’m no professional. I decided to do the work myself as I was quoted an outrageous amount for roughly 30 dents. Heck, I don’t even see 30, so out of the 9 highly visual ones. I decided I would do the work. Temp-do not do this directly in the sun (90*+), the glue will not cure/harden. I was able to work in the garage (while 97* outside) or under trees in the morning. After using the clear glue sticks for awhile, I decided to use the black sticks on both the blue and black pads. While the black glue works better with the black pads, I occasionally used it on the blue pads to do the process faster. Some dents only took one pull of the yellow tool, while others took 4-5 pulls. This takes patience, my wife helped with spraying alcohol on the glue and scraping after I pulled the yellow tool. Which also helped a bunch. I took a moment to watch a few videos on YouTube prior to doing the work.

Glue has no hold strength. Doesn't work as expected
I've tried different tips and different dents. Clean paint area but the glue provided either pulls away from the paint or pulls away from the tip with hardly any pressure. The sticky glue is... not. Fail so far. I'm trying to decide to send it back or go invest more money in better glue sticks. Disappointed so far. I'll update this review if I get better results in the future. Oh... the instructions say 3 to 5 min for the glue to harden and it may take several attempts to correct one dent. Even if it was working as expected it'll take you days if99 30th you have many dents.
