Good, fast drying, balsa glue for model builders.
Instant glue, this is not. Call it,"instant and a half." You have to wait, maybe, 20 minutes for this glue to tack up. This is aliphatic glue with enhancements. It holds like or better than Titebond. It is very thin and wicks into joints very easily. Joints withstand shocks well. It also penetrates the fibers of the wood very well. It dries quickly but not instantly. If you fool with the joint very much before it tacks up, you will have to add a little more glue. Complete drying time is at least over nightWhen dry, it is somewhat rubbery, flexible and quite strong. I have not tried sanding it, but the prospect does not look promising due to the rubbery consistency. I try to confine the glue to the inside of the joint which is pretty easy to do. I usually apply the glue from a small puddle using a tooth pick as an applicator. The needle applicator that came with the glue, pugged up on the first use, so I threw it away. Teflon tubing might work, but I have not tried it. The glue in the container has the viscosity of water.

Really strong glue, but requires some care
I've used Super Phatic glue for the last 3 years after I developed an allergy to CA. I penetrates balsa pretty well and holds better than any other glue I've tried and it dries pretty quickly. I have only two issues with this stuff.1. After it dries, it remains very slightly flexible which is good for strength, but it means it can't easily be sanded smooth. So keep it off the external side of wing or fuselage panel joints.2. If stored for more than a few months without having been shaken, the glue separates in the bottle and can't be re-mixed. I bought 2 bottles at Toledo (from the Deluxe Rep) last year. Used one immediately, the other (from the same box) sat on the self for 10 months, when I finished the first, I grabbed the second and it was a solid chunk. I also just received a "new" bottle via Amazon that had hardened - I suspect it sat in a warehouse too long. So keep it moving. Otherwise, Great Stuff!

Works Well
I’ve used this glue for perhaps 12-13 years, I build large scratch Built radio controlled airplanes and use many types of glues. Super Phatic is a wicking glue, in other words it penetrates close fitting joints and secures them well. The glue sands well which is important so you don’t have hard seam lines that show thru the finish. What it doesn’t do is fill gaps, if you have sloppy ill fitting joins this is not the glue you would use. The glue works great on balsa, spruce and other woods not metal or plastic

Great glue but cannot stand freezing.
This is my go-to glue when I build rc airplanes. It soaks into the wood and drys quicker then Titebond. HOWEVER, I bought some from two different suppliers this winter and it arrived solid both times. This glue CANNOT stand freezing. Both suppliers sent the glue by mail and it was exposed to freezing temperatures en route.

Super Phatic vs CA glue for balsa model building
I’ve been building balsa model airplains of 60 years and when CA adhesives (Super Glue) became popular I started using it and loved many of its advantages. Over time I developed an allergy to the fumes of CA, burning sinuses and eyes and finally bronchitis. I tried everything, carbon filtrer masks, fans, open windows and nothing worked. I had all but given up building then I discovered Super-Phatic by Delux Materials. The problem with regular aliphatic glues (carpenter’s or white glues) is that is does not wick into tight joints and it takes hours to setup. Super Phatic is thin enough to wick but stronger than CA and setup to a working state in about 20 minutes at 74 degrees. I tried thinning regular aliphatic glue with water but it didn’t have the strength of Super Phatic and it took longer to setup. I’ve heard complaints from people saying that it is rather expensive but it’s still cheaper than CA by about $5.00 an ounce less than the odorless CA which I am also allergic to. Overall I’m very satisfied with is product for model building and would recommend it to anyone. Also.....it doesn’t glue your fingers together and cleans up with water.

Works as defined
A great alternate to standard CA glue. The thickness of the product makes for other duties. Like a white glue but dries clear and holds incredibly on many surfaces

Excellent gluing strenght
Excellent standability after drying. Thin glue weeps into wood joint

Wrong applicator shown in picture
Super Phatic is a wonderful product that I've used for many years. Three stars you say? Super Phatic deserves 5 stars !!!! The applicator pictured is NOT the one you receive. On my first order I got no applicator at all. Re-did the order and I specified I wanted the "metal" applicator as shown in the picture. So, they sent another. This time with one of those thin plastic applicators that clog up easily and are way too flexible (been there done that). So, if you are like me, I work with a lot of foam products so, the "metal" applicator is a MUST for me as I need something stiff to puncture the foam to insert my glue.
