A year prior to purchasing these shoes, I bought a $45 pair of mid-calf waterproof boots for my trip to Iceland. They served me well, but after a week of daily wear, I was limping because my feet were destroyed. This year, for my trip to Ireland, I knew I would be 3x more walking than I did in Ireland, so I decided to hunt for a pair of back up shoes. Style-wise, these Colombia boots seemed to fit what I had in mind—a tennis shoe that’s warm, waterproof and appropriate for walking and hiking. And, I was so happy that these delivered in all areas. I wore these shoes for an entire week in Ireland, and I have no complaints. I actually have delicate pinky toes that can get easily irritated even in fairly comfortable shoes. I also have poor circulation in my feet which can be painful in cold weather. These Colombia boots gave me no issues. They are light like tennis shoes, and just overall amazing. There were days in Ireland when there was wind and rain, but my feet stayed warm and dry as I was exposed to such weather. Size was just right. They were a bit snug with thick thermal socks, but not uncomfortable. Thermal socks were not needed though. I wore these every day of my one week trip. For size reference, I do have somewhat slender feet. I highly recommend.

Warm, Light-Weigh, Boots
I really like these boots. They're a bit pricey, but Columbia brand usually holds up well. For me something that's well made, comfortable, and will last is usually worth paying a little more. They're lightweight and warm. I was replacing my Sperry duck boots after several years of use and wanted something a little warmer bc my feet would freeze when I wore them in snow. I like that they are fabric, but still waterproof. Most winter boots are usually a hard rubber, rigid, and don't have much flexibility, not these. I love that they're so much lighter weight. I think they're comfy, but they don't have the arch support you get from say a running shoe. One thing that should be noted is that these are narrow. I would say I don't have particularly narrow or wide feet. I usually wear the, "normal" size, e.g., I don't usually order wide or narrow shoes. If I had to pick one though my feet are on the wider side vs the narrow side. I debated if I should order a wide, and decided to based on other reviews that said these were narrow. I'm glad I ordered a wide they definitely would have been uncomfortable if I hadn't. I didn't love that they charged so much more for the wide though, but overall I'm really happy with my boots. They're really cute too.

I LOVE COLUMBIA BOOTS!!!!! 😃
I have a total of 5 pairs of Columbia boots at this point and I just started purchasing them in the Winter of 22. That’s how much I love them, both long and short! After buying my first pair and falling in love I gave my usual brand a break because their quality changed, glad I’m here now!! This particular boot I’ve been stalking, but was waiting for the price to go down and IT DID!!!!!! I had to tell myself to not buy two pair 😂!! I wear a 9 so I buy a 9 and honestly it breaks in after about 2 wears so I never size up(I have fat feet). I’m happy and comfortable!!!!!! Columbia keep my feet warm, dry and looking cute!! Let’s not forget with both long and short ones you can be very stylish! I’m in Chicago and we have some rough Winters some years and your feet being warm and dry are very important!! Also, good traction. I pair mine with either my pea coat or Columbia coat or sometimes just my hoodie . 😊 🫶🏽

Great boots
I have a problem finding footwear that I like. I inherited my father's wide feet, so my choices are very limited. These boots not only come in wide width, but fit well. They are a tad bit long, so I could have probably gone a half-size smaller, but I am still able to wear them with no issues. They are comfortable, keep my feet warm in the cold, and are easy to walk in. These have probably got to be the best winter boots I have had in a long time.

probably my favorite purchase ever!!
I’m planning a trip to Iceland soon, and need a WARM and WATERPROOF boot. I was a little hesitant to order this boot, because I've always liked the convenience of a zipper or slip on boot. But wow, was I doing myself a disfavor! A tie on boot offers a custom fit, and makes walking and hiking so much more comfortable. This boot also has a high quality foot bed insert, which is removable. I love this boot so much! It is lightweight, but offers an incredible non-slip tread for walking. They are soooo warm! I sized up one whole size, because I wanted to be able to wear a thicker sock. I'm finding that I do NOT need an extra sock, and surprisingly, the boot seems to run just a tiny bit small through the toe box (maybe due to extra insulation??). I am super happy I sized up (something I don’t ordinarily do, because wearing a size 11 and sizing up to a 12 is not something any woman aspires to!) I really think the extra wiggle room results in warmer toes. Could NOT be happier with this boot! UPDATE: these were beyond perfect for my trip to Iceland in late March. These boots are my new best friend! ❤️

Loved it!
I walk miles and miles under different type of trails (rocks, sand, creak and mod) and I feel safe, comfortable and warm. I love the boot! I walk in temperature 39º F to 43º F and have not problem feeling warm. Also the boot are NOT heavy and make walks easier for your back and knee especially if you are walking for long period of time. ***Suggestion for future buyers as a reference note: I am size 7 and I only found that the boot were a bit narrow for the size. This is why I'll suggest if you are more comfortable in a wider boot better choose half size a bit bigger especially if you are going to use thick socks.*** I was ok with the size because my feet are narrow and my only concert was the sock choosing but everything else was just perfect!
