So far this thing is working perfectly to replace the stock part that went bad. I was only producing about 12.4 volts. Enough to run the bike, but not enough to charge the battery. The new is producing over 14v like it should.

Wire was to short
Regulator itself seems fine but the wire was to short to properly route back behind side cover. Made it work after soldering on a longer piece of wire and crimping on a new terminal.
