Cocktail Mix Franco's Lime Bar Mix 6 Oz. Single Pouch/ 1 Quart

Perfect mix for my margs!

I've had many margaritas in my life but I consistently prefer the ones served by a national Mexican chain whose initials are U.J. over anybody else. I know they use a mix because several bartenders there told me, though when I asked management what their mix is all they could tell me is it's a "proprietary blend". Thus I began my search to find what they use in their margaritas and my suspicions fell to the Franco's mixes. I ordered both the lemon and the lime. I tried just the lemon first and that didn't seem to be a match, then a tried just the lime and same deal. So I mixed them 50/50 and mixed with water in a ratio of 1 part mix to 3 parts water and I think I got something pretty close. It has that perfect level of sweet and tart. I'll keep tweaking to see if I can get closer...in the mean time I think this is the best margarita mix that you can buy at the moment.

The mix is great. 1 of the bags had a few holes and was leaking mix everywhere. The Amazon package that they shipped in was undamaged. Good thing the other 4 were fine.

When ordering margarita's when we go out, we are frequently disappointed in many of them that are overly sweet and tasteless. Most lack that sufficient lime component. We found one local Mexican restaurant that serves really great ones that we go back for again and again. We finally asked the bartender how they make theirs and they indicated that they use this product... so I went looking for it and was happy to find it on Amazon. We made it at home and again, found that we really like the drink this makes the best. The only thing we noticed when making it at home versus at the restaurant is that it looks a bit artificially green in color but you only have to look at that for mere moments, because you will see bottoms up pretty quick!

not to my liking

Makes a lot and tastes so good!! Have ordered this multiple times. I’ve found that it tastes best to make this mix and add your tequila to each cup individually instead of added the tequila in the whole container.
