Excellent blades so far. Cutting logs up to 9" thick is enjoyable again (at 75). I now have 2 new Bahco blades. A raker toothed one is in a new Bahco bowsaw frame and I like the smooth tensioner. A peg toothed one is in my old frame and replaces a cheaper hard point blade which, after about 1000 cuts of 5-6" dried Lawson Cypress logs wouldn't cut deeper than an inch no matter how tight the wing nut and the blade couldn't be reset. I always despised our throwaway culture but I'm hopeful these blades will outlive me and I won't need to confess in a negative review. I now know why my grandfather asked me to cut his logs. I was ignorant about sharpening or setting them and struggled for years with all his old saws until I bought a new hard point one and suddenly realised the fault hadn't been mine. It's too early for a proper review but I'm recommending to friends that these aren't expensive and cut so easily that no-one has to worry about building big muscles and no, I'm not trying to con a wife or young ones into cutting the logs!

This large bow-saw blade is very sharp and quick cutting. I have a number of trees around which can drop big branches when there's a gale. This blade is so good at cutting through thick timber that it becomes easy, although the blade can wander off-line somewhat on the thickest branches. That doesn't bother me as I'm only cutting to get rid of the wood. If you tried to use them for cutting to a line, then you might have more difficulty.

Specifically intended for dry wood. Great blade. Cuts through hardwood without struggling.
