Derwent A5 Portrait

I am completly and utterly in love with this sketch book. I will admit I was sceptical upon purchase. I was in desperate need of a new A5 pad but didnt have the money to buy the one I wanted so settled for this one instead. I am beyond glad I did!! The front and back covers are very firm and good quality, had I more experience drawing direct on black I would easily be able to decorate the front to personalise it. The paper inside is gorgeous. It is super thick! As you can see from the photos I used Chameleon Pens (alcohol markers) which have not bled beyond the lines nor onto the paper underneath. As you can see the colour is visible on the reverse side but for me that dosnt matter. The pervirated pages are easy to pull out, so you have no risk of tearing the paper and ruining the drawing. There is even a handy storage pocket at the back! Will I be buying this again? Yes! 100 times yes!

J'achète ce carnet chaque année pour en faire mon Bullet Journal. Contrairement aux carnets classiques dediés au Bullet Journal, ici on a un papier épais, la possibilité de "plier" totalement le carnet grâce à la reliure en spirale, je peux utiliser crayons et feutres sans crainte que ça passe au travers de la feuille, et les pages totalement blanches sans quadrillage me laissent une liberté totale. Je suis très satisfaite pour l'utilisation que j'en fais.

Good sketchbook. price is good. Paper isn't too easy to remove but I personally see this as a good thing since paper that is easy to remove can fall out when you don't want it to.
