It works and wasn’t too bad to install. Watched a few videos on how to install. It’s worth the little bit of effort because my washer is still going strong.

Doesn’t fit my series 70 Kenmore washer
Nothing against this product but if you have an old Kenmore series 70 washer this will not fit. The plastic end doesn't fit into the plastic paper to the dryer. I don’t see a comparable part.For me, the original button works - it was the bracket that broke. I’m going to try & secure that in the lid switch spot. I’ll use pipe strap - either plastic or metal with two one inch screws and nuts.

It fixed the problem
This product was a bit hard to install because you need to lift the cabinet completely off. I suggest a you-tube video. Before installing. Make sure your washer is unplugged.
