I bought these for a sewing project. I love the black as they blend in better with the fabric vs the silver ones I got at the craft store.

Even with the thing to attach very difficult to put on and the side with the insert is very soft and smashes easily. Would have returned but with a few damaged ones while trying to make them work felt I couldn't

The snaps work great!! My 3 star review is because I was sent too many male parts and not enough female. I didn't realize it until I had used a lot of them so I can't return. I ordered 3 sets and ended up with 5 packs of males and 1 pack of female.

It’s more of a dark gray not black at all

The snap seems to be slightly smaller than 9.5 mm and so doesn’t stay in tool. Then the grab on the snap is so strong that it pulls out of the clothing. Tension is not right. Can’t return because I used and found out the hard way.

The prong were just slightly too small for my Dritz tool and would fall out but I could work around that. What I could not work around was that every snap set I put in and snapped, when I tried to unsnap it, the base would pull out of the material, leaving only the prong. Even if the prong had stayed in, it was too hard to unsnap.
