Solid construction
I have only used them for a few weeks but love them so far. They cook and clean well.

HOT HANDLES . . .
We switched to an induction stove last year and so had to change our pans. These are great for cooking and clean up easily, but unlike the old set of Anolon pans they do not have silicon protectors on the lid handles. I have now burnt my hand several times just forgetting to grab an over glove before quickly lifting the lid while boiling liquids. It's a real deficit in this set which I hope Anolon fixes in its design for next time!! My set has also got a tiny mark where the surface seems to have come off near the top of the saucepan - given that I only use silicon implements, and the description says you can use metal utensils, this is very disappointing.

Well built durable non-stick skillet
What I like about this pan is that it has high walls so food doesn't fall out,the non-stick works wonderfully. The handle is comfortable in the hand and is not rubberized so no question or doubt about using it in a hot oven.I've own Anolon Advanced before this product and it was also good but this pan (Accolade) is a newer version.12 " pan is a sweet size, not too big, not too small. The glass lid comes in handy, a lot of non-stick skillets dont have a glass lid.The only negative thing I would have to say is that it is a bit heavy, especially when loaded up with food, which can be an annoyance for some people who have weak wrists/hands ie. elderly folks .I suspect this pan like Anolon's Advanced series will last a long time, these are quality durable pans but that relates to their cost.

Great at first, not so good after awhile
I did a lot of homework on these pans. And they do have a lot of great features. But, I waited to post this review to see how they perform over time and it's not good. They still heat pretty evenly. The lids fit well. Look at the sizes closely before you order. All of the pans are a little smaller than what you would expect for a set like this. I didn't catch this in the description and was not happy when they came out of the box. But, the biggest issue is that the pans are not very durable and scratch really easy. You CANNOT stack the pans together without a pad between them. We had to take some old kitchen towels and make pads. It really is a pain to have to deal with that. I'm also very afraid to use metal utensils now. Please note that the first thing they tout is durability. This stuff is not durable at all.The non-stick worked the first couple of times I used them, but not so great a few months later. We don't wash our pans in the dishwasher and these do take a little effort now to clean them. Finally, I do not like the rimmed slotted bottoms. I do a lot a pan moving when I cook and these slots catch on the cook top as your shaking and has caused spills.I included three photos. One with the scratches in the sauce pan. I think most of that is probably from setting the smaller saucier into it.. The second photo shows the scratch in the frying pan and the third is the pans included on the set for size reference (7.5-qt Stockpot not shown). Every one of these pans has some type of scratch in it.Bottom line is these pans really are a 2 at best. I regret my decision to buy them and we are already looking for replacements.

Mine is not worth $100.
Unless you have been given this skillet for free, I recommend passing on this one. It has the same problems as less expensive pans. Manufacturer says to use low to medium heat only. We use a glass top electric stove. Maybe good for gas or induction stoves, but ours heated very slowly, and by the end of 1 use, the bottom had warped. I have 20 year old skillets that have not warped, so I have some experience. It is very heavy, some people may not be able to lift when full. The main handle in roundish, and the helper handle gets too hot to use without a heavy mitten. I can't believe the influencers on this item. Not worth my money.

Average. Some good, some bad.
The lid itself has a good weight, handle is secure, doesn't get too hot. What I find endlessly annoying is that it's sloppy slippy side to side on the pan. It seems like the lid is an after market purchase rather than specifically made to fit the pan. Initially I thought I could deal with the lid's imperfections but cooking some types of food requires a tight lid. The ill fitting lid gives a low quality element to an Anolon product. My perception was that Anolon's reputation for quality would mean I paid more than average to get more than average but that may be a false equivalency.I find the exterior cleans with little effort, looks brand new. The interior is prone to some stickiness that seems to come with non-stick finishes but it comes off with extra dish liquid and effort. The long handle is impressively heat resistant. The Anolon signature base heats very evenly, retains heat and I doubt warping will ever occur.I rarely write 3 star reviews and less. This Anolon product is average overall and I paid too much for average.
