Is my Ember safe to leave on the Charging Coaster?

Yes! When fully charged, the charging is shut off automatically. Our Mugs also have "maintenance charging", which means that if left on the coaster for months on end, the battery is periodically topped off because the battery slowly self-discharges.

What Materials are used in the Mugs and Lids?

Mugs include a stainless steel core, scratch-resistant coating, advanced lithium-ion battery, and dual-band microprocessor controlled heating system. Lids are made from BPA free plastic.
