Can Win10 assign 2 of these to specific com ports and they will stay there when I turn it on tomorrow?

Sure, but be aware that the COM PORT assignment CAN CHANGE if the adapter is moved to a different USB Port. Also be aware that you can change the COM PORT assignment. For example Windows "remembers" COM Port assignments even if that adapter has been removed. You can reuse the COM Port Number if it's no longed connected to anything. Windows will say it's in use even though is isn't. As long as you know it's free, just tell Windows this ignore the past and use the number you select. Hope the helps .....

Does anyone know this cable will let me send art to a cutter/potter from Corel Draw? I'm tired of setting up the transfering to cutter software

I do not see why not. We have successfully used this cable on both PC's (Windows XP, 7 and 10) and Mac's (OSX) to communicate from the USB port to legacy RS232 devices. You have to install the appropriate driver for your computer (drivers included with the cable), and after adjusting your communications settings (baud rate, data bits, parity, etc.) you should be able to communicate with your legacy RS232 device. Good Luck.

Does this work with windows 11?

It should I would think. It works in older versions of Winblows, it should in 11. It should be drivers for it.

Perfect! Working immediately after connection.

The USB/RS232 adapter is with FT232 chip. Was immediately recognized by Windows 10, as I had used another one before (different brand, with FTDI chip). Good quality (golden USB and RS232 connectors). Ordered 1m (3ft) adapter with male DB9 connector. Drivers were installed directly from FTDI site.

The software that I am using this with is quite picky, this is the only one it will work with, and it does work very well. Gold plated too, so no chance of a corroded pin or the like.

تم برمجة عدة أجهزة أكسس بوينت من الطرازات القديمة والتي تعمل على كابلات دي بي 9 ، الكابل يعمل بشكل رائع وجودته جيدة ، ولكن لم يأت معه برمجيات التعريف على أقل تقدير وهو سي دي روم سوفتوير خاص به ويعمل بكامل كفاءته بدل البحث والعناء عن سوفتوير يطابق الشريحة الخاصة بالكابل وهي شريحة PL2303 برغم تواجد عدة نسخ بشكل كبير جدا على الإنترنت ولكن لا يمكن تحديد ماهو المطابق تماما بدون حدوث أية مشكلات وتجربة كل سوفتوير على حدة مما سبب ضياع وقت للبحث عن السوفتوير المناسب على نظام محدد.
