Sheaffer POP Black Ballpoint Pen

I have been using Sheaffer pens since my teens, back in the 1950's. when their first cartridge pens came on the market. Most important, the nib is clearly medium. Nib sizes vary from country to country and even manufacturers. Often, those pens from the Far East are not the same as here in North America. This nib might be broad to some users, but it is well within the medium range. A fine nib may actually be an extra-fine for some users and some extra fine nibs will not write smoothly. This nib writes smoothly but more important, the ink flows immediately even without continual use. Even after a month, the pen writes immediately. No need to use a practice sheet. Plus the pen uses cartridges which eliminates the mess associated with refilling a pen. For anyone new to fountain pens, this is a reliable and quality starter pen at a very affordable price.
