We ordered these for my daughters 21st birthday and they are perfect. They show up in just about any hair color and really draw in the attention.

I saw many of the other reviews that mentioned that the items didn't work, they were too heavy for the hair, and that the clips were bulky and they couldn't hide them, so I want to address those concerns. All of mine worked. I had them on for over 2 hours and they were still going strong. I have super thin hair and was a bit concerned, but it was just a matter of putting more hair in the clip, so that it didn't slide. Not a big deal at all. As far as the clips being bulky and they couldn't hide them, why would you want to?? The clips are part of the flash and glow fun. They weren't meant to be hidden. I really loved these, and so did my girlfriends that I shared them with. So many people at the glow party wanted to know where to get them. I think it was a great purchase, and I'm sorry others didn't have as great of an experience. I will definitely buy again if I need to replace any of the ones I already have.

Bright and happy and EVERY ONE OF THEM WORKS !!!!!!! I am so very pleased. My hair is thin and the clips work perfectly. The actual clip is about an inch long and the clasping mechanism securely holds the fibro-optic tendrils in place cuz there's baby "teeth" helping the hair to old into the clip. I couldn't be more pleased. Will make halloween costume perfect! Absolutely no regrets with this purchase. Kids would love these, too. But, adults will have alot of fun with them if romp partying or costume finishing.

I wore these hair clip lights to a party. They are so much fun and easy to use but they only lasted for 2 hours, if that. I brought extras in my purse and was glad I did. In the past, other lighted hair clips I bought lasted all night. I wouldn't recommend these.

Clips stay in place, lights work amazing.

I wanted just to be able to control the modes to a slow changing one. Not possible. Will be returning.

So I understand the clip is large and hard to hide, but my main complaint was that these did not even last 2 hours! The only thing lit was the red light blinking on the clip part. Gave them out at my daughter’s party and they died quickly. I understand the battery can be changed, but to not last 2 hours is a total rip off! I really wanted to ask party goers for them back so I could return this item, but that would not have been cool. Disappointing.

These are awesome!! Wore them to two music festivals last summer and loved them. One night I put like 3 in my hair and put it up in a bun for a cool spikey look. Another night my friend braided it in. It also looks really cool if you wear your hair down. I liked giving them out to my other female friends so that we could easily find each other at camp and in the crowds. On a few the metal piece snapped off but considering these come out to less than a dollar a piece I still think it's a great value.
