Works great
Works like a dream. Great for blending without breaking out the big one. Recharges quick and runs for a good amount of time. Nothing super special about it, but it feels amd performs like a quality kitchen gadget.

Cuisinart rocks
This is a great handheld mixer. We had the corded version before grabbing this one. Same quality and effectiveness but now cordless! Battery lasts a long time, very easy to clean and use. I've been very impressed with Cuisinart products, definitely not a company to rest on their name, they've kept up with creating quality products. Also gotta mention their customer service is amazing.

Worth every penny !
So happy I bought this. I burned out my hand mixer in the middle of mixing a very thick batter. My husband used his portable handheld drill to finish for me. So when I was shopping for a new one I thought why not a cordless handheld … if they even make them. Well they do and this works like a charm. Not real strong for buttercream icing but great for whip cream. Charges up fine and full charge latest while I was using. I keep it fully charged all the time so it is ready to go.

Hard to use
I generally love the Cuisinart kitchen products, but this one apparently didn't get field-tested,I bought this because I trust the brand and I have many of their other appliances. The price was good and I didn't want another corded appliance in the kitchen.I use this thing outdoors at times. It's a nice kit - I like the detachable blender and whisk. The plastic beaker isn't needed and it's way over-packaged.Nice looking for a gift, but twice as large as the box needs to be.The whole unit is also about twice as big and twice as heavy as a plug-in model with a cord. They twist on fairly easily, but only one way.It should twist on from either side (180 degrees). The charging too much longer than I expected - 4 hours. But, the worst experience, however, was actually trying to use it.The instructions are predictably unreliable - poorly translated and incomplete. You have to press down a "lock" button for some silly reason, before you can press the ON button. It's not intuitive and it's in an awkward part of the appliance. It has On mode and a pulse mode, but good luck figuring out how to get there.it's poorly engineered and disappointing, because otherwise, it's sturdy and a nice size.Since you can take off the implements, it's easy to store in a kitchen drawer.

Do not waste your time or money
This is the worst [rather pricey, name-brand] item I have seen in a long time. Received the product, seemed to be dead, so okay, no problem, let it charge. But after an hour or two, the three charge lights were still blinking. Had to look in the manual to decode the meaning, cause it still seemed to have no power. The manual says when there is 1 solid light and two blinking, that it has 40% charge, and when 2 are solid, it has 80%, and all 3 are 100% (or something like that). But it had two blinking and the first one was blinking as well, but much more intermittently/slowly. Finally figured out that in order to turn it on, you have to hold one button (with a lock picture) and when the lights come on, you can hold the power button and it runs. If you want to pulse, you can press the power button intermittently, but if you let go for more than a couple seconds, the light goes out, then you have to start over. It's ABSURD! By this point, I knew it was going back...It also didn't 'seem' very powerful, but I put it in a bowl of water and it churned pretty well (didn't try with anything thick though). Of course it has the two attachments, which is nice, and they are easy cleaning cause they are detachable. Would have liked if the main unit was also waterproof, for easy cleaning should it get food slopped on it, but it seemed clear the housing was not water-tight.After charging some 12+ hours (never finished -lights kept blinking), and when I unplugged, it seemed to have only 2-lights-worth of charge, which quickly went down to only 1, so obviously the battery was flawed/old. And of course it's not a removable battery, so the whole thing is garbage when that quits...There are a bunch of immersion blenders listed for under $20 and I bet every one of them is better.

Great until it gives up in a year Customer Service first rate!
My original review was a "1" . Basically the unit did exactly what it was supposed to do and what I wanted it to do until it quit. I was angry - then I contacted Cuisinart support - and WOW! They were very helpful, explained that my item was actually stale inventory the shipper had sent me from stock that was not for the American market, but if I provided the Amazon invoice they would honor what I thought was a generous warranty from my date of purchase. They are replacing the unit and I don't have to go through the exercise of shipping it anywhere.I have several Cuisinart products, never had a problem with any of them before this, and they sure came through. Let us say I am a happy camper. My original review is below:I don't know what to say. It was great when it worked, I did not abuse it, I kept it clean. but it just gave up and no longer charges. Wire is in as new shape. So presumably battery has to be replaced - but really, it gave up in one year?
