Excellent unit and it really is quiet. I can happily run this in my garage standing next to it and not need any ear protection. I use an impact wrench and this runs it happily. An excellent addition to my workshop. It's got a small footprint and is light enough to easily pick up. Wish I'd got one years ago.

It really is quiet, but it comes to pressure pretty quickly. Nicely isolating rubber feet prevent transmitting too much vibration through the floor. I can comfortably run this in a single car garage sized space and not feel like I need ear defenders. Highly recommended

Quiet, good quality, powerful and compact, love it!

From other reviews online this looks to be a great compressor, but my ordering experience was a bit of a nightmare. I was sent the EU spec model AFTER emailing Einhell UK direct who confirmed by email that it'd be a UK spec compressor (when bought from Amazon.co.uk). Amazon first offered to cover the cost of an adaptor (missing the point), even Einhell suggested I use a 2-3 pin plug adaptor, offering to supply one but then not sending it, refusing to confirm in writing that it would be safe to do this and then by saying that if I got an electrician to replace the plug for a UK 3 pin one it would invalidate the warranty. I do get that you can just use a plug adaptor and it will "probably" be fine, but this is for home studio use so I can't take the risk, and I shouldn't have to after being confidently told that it would be UK spec. Returned the item for a full refund, I had to cover the return shipping (£35) and claim it back which seems a bit ridiculous, especially as if I'd been given the correct information from Einhell to start with (that Amazon will source from the EU of there are none available in the UK) then this all could have been avoided.

The LpA is 57 dB and the LwA 78 dB, which is actually very silent. I found the sound to be totally OK: a whispering sound plus a very low engine sound. Much more silent even than my silent vacuum cleaner. Just one issue: a mismatch of tolerances for two screws and/or inner threads for the handle, which initially prevented screw insertion. The problem was solved when the screw tracks were oiled before insertion.

Dieser Kompressor hat bei mir einen Kompressor ersetzt, der zum einen viel zu sperrig und zum anderen gefühlt auch noch so laut war, wie ein Presslufthammer. Dieser Kompressor ist hingegen das absolute Gegenteil. Er ist wirklich klein und - für einen Kompressor - flüsterleise. Darüber hinaus ist er überraschend leistungsstark und im Sinne der Dichtigkeit absolut zuverlässig. Das heißt, dass der Druck nach einem oder zwei Tagen nicht entweicht, sondern i.d.R. konstant erhalten bleibt. Am Sonntagmorgen ein Planschbecken, den Fußball oder die Fahrräder für eine kleine Radtour aufpumpen? Mit diesem Kompressor absolut kein Problem! Die Nachbarn würden absolut nichts davon mitbekommen. Ich konnte es selbst wirklich erst glauben, als ich ihn live in Betrieb genommen habe. Denn Rezensionen und die darin erwähnten Geräuschempfindungen sind dann doch immer eher subjektiver Natur und häufig mit Vorsicht zu genießen. Aber hier muss wirklich gesagt werden: das Ding ist unglaublich leise! Ich kann diesen Kompressor deswegen uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würde ihn auch wieder kaufen. Natürlich kostet er etwas mehr, als andere Kompressoren. Dieser ist aufgrund der geringen Geräuschentwicklung aber wirklich jeden Cent wert. Einfach ein tolles Gerät!
