when i received the machine, it came on time , the box was fine I took the machine out of the box and plugged it into the wall let it didn't come on, nothing worked. I had called the company where the machine was shipped from and they were all but professional /caring. The representative just pushed me back to Amazon without trying to help me. I really wanted this device to complete my system however after this experience that was a loss to me as well as my opinion of this companies products. Amazon was not the issue and if any deserves any of the stars in this case. for this company would be none however i had to choose at least one.

Good for beginners, I had never mixed before and wow!

This unit is trash replaced 3 time and still garbage the unit constantly reboots. When recording to flash the unit does this slight pasue like a skip. Gemini use to be good long gone are does days. Save your self the money and aggravation.

This is truly an amazing unit. A strand alone unit with pads that do not require a laptop to activate them, it is simply amazing. You can use two USB drives to switch dj's and not having to stop the music, you can also record directly onto your 2nd USB with no other attachments. Audio quality in the recording is clear, and perfectly balanced to listen to it straight out of the USB with no editing needed. You can attach two other cdj's and make full use of all 4 channels, and if you are using Gemini cdj's, they can be linked and work flawlessly. It has it's own FX bank, which also works with no laptop needed. it is a solid, well built and ergonomically designed unit that won't break your bank. I've had my unit for almost two months now, and I'm loving every single thing about it. Check out my profile on IG to see videos of this unit @howorld. I strongly recommend this unit to anyone looking for an affordable dj controller that can be used as a stand alone, MIDI, and allows you to link up two external units.

Côté droit HS au 3ème essai. La platine se coupe totalement dès que j'appuie sur la touche de sélection USB2. Dommage, elle me plaisait bien. Le matériel Gemini ne m'avait, jusqu'à présent, pourtant pas déçu.

Zunächst einmal ein Dankeschön an den Kundensupport von Amazon. Er hat sich wirklich noch bemüht mir zu helfen das Gerät evtl doch zu behalten, aber kommen wir zum SDJ 4000. Ich erhielt den Controller bereits mit einer halb entfernten Schutzfolie am Display. Gleich danach fiel mir auf, dass in der Effekt Sektion ein zweites mal die Chop Taste verbaut war anstelle der Noise Taste. Sehr schade. Desweiteren waren diverse Tasten, Fader und Drehregler mangelhaft verbaut. Soweit so (nicht) gut: In diesem Zustand zu diesem Zeitpunkt hätte ich den Controller sogar noch behalten mit einem Preisnachlass versteht sich. Der Amazon Kundensupport hat mit dabei wie schon gesagt geholfen. Im weiteren Testeinsatz kam dann jedoch die Riesen große Ernüchterung: Wer sich ein wenig mit dem SDJ 4000 auskennt hat schonmal gehört, dass der DELAY FX nicht funktioniert. So auch hier natürlich ohne Funktion :-( wieso verkauft man ein Produkt (nach einigen Jahren Entwicklung) das letztlich nicht wirklich funktioniert? Die Loop-Funktion: das Loopen von Songs funktioniert mal, und mal nicht. Echt ein absolutes Ausschlusskriterium! Der Controller ist vielleicht etwas zum mixen für sich allein, aber für einen GIG oder Publikum nicht tauglich, da unzuverlässig. Aber selbst für einen Alleine macht es nach kurzer Zeit keine Lust mehr. Zu Guter Letzt ist der Controller dann nach ca 3h - 4h Nutzung komplett aus gegangen und nie wieder an! Eine einzige Enttäuschung. Habe mir nun einen "richtigen" Controller geholt und bin mega zufrieden. Nehmt lieber etwas mehr Geld in die Hand und holt euch was richtiges. Ab ca. 1500€ bekommt man schon hochwertige Geräte.

Had for just a week, returned it as it had too many glitches freezing issues cutting out. Not very good. Shame really, it could have been so much better than most other controllers on the market but failed on its internal software issues
