It shall return!
It will come back—but only if you throw it just right. Once it leaves your hand, a fast, sharp throw sends it shooting upward before it arcs back down. You really have to put some strength behind it, which makes it especially fun for older kids and adults. It’s been a great addition to our other Aerobie freebies, and while the kids love it, they usually don’t have quite enough power to make it return.

Waste of money
Broke the very first time my 5 year old threw it. Don’t waste your money.

This one is great. We tried a couple of other boomerangs and we found one that returns, but most of the others were hit and miss. However, this one can go far and comes back fairly consistently. Both my 12-year-old and 16-year-old love playing with it. It will actually go far and got stuck in a tree once, but we were able to get it down. Highly recommend recommended.

Will reasonably return within a distance, needs a windless day to work well, anything more than a breeze will take it off course,so unless you are throwing it with a dog, prepare to do a lot of walking to retrieve. Not much more than a dollar store purchase.

Takes a little while to get the hang of it, but it's very fun once you get the technique.

Two of us tried, multiple times over multiple outings, to get this too comeback to us (approximately 5-8 hrs actually play time) with maybe three ~mostly~ successful returns. All despite watching and reading multiple guides. Frustrating? Yes. Cool to see it return? Most definitely. Would I recommend? Only if you like playing fetch with yourself (even with two people, you'll mostly be taking turns retrieving it... so mostly no. We typically take our standard aerobie for when this one gets too frustrating.

Just throw it, it’s a little intimidating when flying back at your face!
