Best Smart Mesh WiFi
This product is just really best Home WiFi mesh product. efficient, smart and reliable. Though before I was skeptical in buying them, as I saw some negative reviews, and the cost was considerably higher. however, I wanted to take chance to evaluate myself, and now I so happy I have done so. Yes, the product App was a bit dodgy at the setup for the first time, and had to reboot, and then use other device, which is strange for linksys, Same App work smooth with Linksys WRT AP I already have. However, once the Velops got the setup done, and place them at the right places, it has given me the best reliable connection on WiFi at home. no Matter how strong the signal is, still I got decent connection, with speedtest results tops the link from the ISP. The app has limited things to present to end-user, from advanced settings, like enable or disable the 5GHz WiFi. but honestly for the first time I didn't as the Velop designed to take care of it, and make reliable connection. comparing with other products that may have much on GUI for End-user, but less reliable and cheap hardware. To summarize I am Network Engineer with 15 years of experience. have been using Linksys WiFi products over the past 7 Years, they are a bit pricy compared with other products, but I have never regretted once the investment that I made. always worth it, peace of mind for me, and family especially with Covid-19 and online schooling....etc

Very Effective
I bought a pack of 3 x WHW0303 Velop home mesh nodes (along with a the Linksys MR8300 router) to replace our existing home network as we were suffering from internet drop outs and patchy coverage in some areas of our villa. Everything was really easy to set up using the Linksys app and the end result is massively improved speed and coverage throughout the villa.

Not working bad quality
Didn’t work. Only cover like 5 meters away from the router in an open space.

Very good product
It's amazing and easy to set it up ( app availabe) , good for big spaces and fits the open areas, since we have lots of walls between the rooms it didn't work very well for some areas but still it's the best we used till now

Good product - you need to make channel optimization
Easy to install with Linksys app. Once you catch the main's signal, do the channel optimization on your app. This clearly solves a lot of connection issues.

Not great
I had to buy one of these as Du installed one for me and figured adding a second would make it easy. There’s no instructions except download the app. The app instructions aren’t that clear. So google was my friend. Performance wise, I felt let down. I have one at the bottom of the stairs and connected this at the top of the stairs. Having setup problems due to an orange light which wasn’t mentioned on the app I googled and found it means it’s too far away from the main node (downstairs) this is just a flight of stairs distance away. Very poor in my opinion. It does provide internet for my upstairs but the orange light makes it annoying that it could be a stronger signal.

Great product, I covered 550m2 with high speed
Great product, it covered my duplex plus rooftop, total of 550m2, high speed, great is that have Ethernet so you can plug devices which are won’t wireless. I use it in combination with D link router. Router is on ground floor and this devices are on the first and 2nd floor.

Great performance
I live in a two stories house (4beds), each of 2060 Sqft of built-up area, coverage is great in both floors and in dead zones. Seamless roaming between the two nodes. No interruption of Internet service at all. Now I can start Microsoft teams call in one floor and finish at the other without any interruptions whatsoever. The good thing in this router that it keeps shifting the devices between 2.4 and 5GHz seamlessly depending on the device’s proximity from the node, this gives great speed for nearby devices as they are connected on 5GHz and a very good speed for those connected on 2.4Ghz. No dead zones. I’m happy and satisfied.

Completely upgraded my home network! I am in an apartment, so I only use one node and plugged it into an apartment-wide wifi network via ethernet. This allows me to have a private and secure network at lightning fast speeds, somehow even faster than the actual apartment complex wifi. Super easy to setup and was compatible with my network.

I have a two-story house with a basement. The base unit is upstairs on the end of the house where the cable modem terminates. The second unit is about 45 feet back into the house, still upstairs. Coverage over all the house is solid, device speed tests come about at my subscription limit anywhere on the main floors. Solid signal even in the basement, never ran a speed test in the basement, but never noticed any issues with phone or laptop WiFi performance. The app worked great for set up. Lets you see what your network is doing on your phone - what devices are connected to which node. One thing, the status light (normally blue) is ridiculously bright! The node that I put in the bedroom was so bright at night I had to cover the LED with a piece of white electrical tape! I replaced an older Linksys router because it was struggling to service the entire house from the upstairs corner of the house. This two-node mesh router set was a massive improvement! Far surpassed my expectations.

My goal was to get a usable signal at all areas of my property. I have spectrum 1 gig cable service and the provided router was not cutting it. I purchased the MX8502 Atlas max 6E tri band rated at 6000 sq ft 2 routers package. These routers accomplished my goal. My house is 3000 sq feet single story on a lot that is 200 feet long 66 feet wide. My office is located in the front of the house which is 15 feet from the front of the lot. My garage is separate from the house at the very back of the lot. I did have difficulty with set up. I was unable to get a internet signal out of the modem (Hitron brand) and to the Linksys router. The set up instructions have you connect your cables then unplug power to the cable modem to reset the connection. They have you connect the internet cat5 cable from modem to Linksys before doing this restart. The trick with spectrum is you don't connect the cat 5 cable during restart of the modem. Since I had already tried many times to set this up I had to start clean. I reset the Linksys to factory spec with the reset button then left the cat 5 cable disconnected during set up until the modem had restarted. and that was it. Both Linksys and spectrum support had me convinced that I could not use this router and modem combination. I usually don't give up easy so I kept calling back till I got the right person which was a tech at spectrum. I have left my channel selection on auto and have not had any disconnection troubles. I have no 6E devices so these results are from my 2.4 and 5ghz devices. In the room that the routers are located in I get nice download speeds 650-800 mbps. At the furthest distances I still get very usable internet. I get aprox 200 mbps in my garage and office which are at the furthest ends. So far 1 month I have not had any issues to complain about. I have all the typical stuff connected plus I use internet for all my music and TV streaming. I have not had to restart the router. I like that there is a guest network option. The control panel is easy to set everything you want.
