Exactly what I was looking for. A decent quality set of stainless to replace the odds and ends that had become my gypsy drawer. And one of the few sets that came with eight place settings. I know I could have just bought two sets of four places settings but I decided to go with this and I'm glad I did. I wasn't positive I was going to be really fond of the floral motif but it is very nice. Everything is a good weight. Not flimsy at all and with a nice finish. The spoons really are quite large, as I think some other people mentioned. (My husband said he doubted that the tablespoons would get much use as the teaspoons were quite large enough to use for soups.) The only slightly odd thing I can say about them is that the edges of the spoons have a kind of almost unfinished look. Or rather, they have a cut-out look. I doubt you would know what I mean by that until you could see it. At any rate, I am more than satisfied with this set.

Amazing; for the price point, I thought the silverware would be lightweight. However, they were just right in terms of weight and sturdiness; the silverware wasn't flmsy as I perceived they might be. All the silverware came wrapped by their size and style individually in a cardboard box. You can tell the quality is pretty impressive, as the silverware seemed very polished. I've had these for a few weeks now and so far, they get the job done with no issues thus far. Overall, I definitely would recommend these to anyone looking to get new silverware or are first- time purchasers.

Excellent quality!

This is a really nice set. I love how light weight they are and the patten is very nice. The forks are on the shorter side as far as the tines go- which I definitely like. The spoons aren't too deep which is also nice. I have no disillusions that these will last generations- as they scratched the first time I washed them (hand washing) - but they were a great buy for the price. I would recommend for someone who just wants a classy day to day set.

The reviews for this set seemed pretty mixed, but as my kitchen is decorated in ivy and I didn't see much else I liked, I decided to try it anyway. I needed more flatware and felt that even if these didn't last forever, they'd at least be good for a while at least, right? Erm... maybe not. First, the box I received was falling apart with the utensils spilling out. Each was wrapped separately in plastic, so I figured that wasn't an issue. I knew the quality wouldn't be great, but as I started taking them out of the little bags, I found they just would not work. Some poor stamping of the ivy print was expected and I wasn't too surprised they were much lighter than my other set (that has lasted for years, utensils have just disappeared over time). The big problem was that several utensils, particularly the forks, were cut so badly that the part that goes into the mouth looked practically mangled. Some prongs were bent, which could have possibly been from shipping since they had fallen out of the box, but there were also cuts and chips in the metal. They would have had to have been machined that way, so no way to fix them. That would seriously hurt the mouth! As cute and inexpensive as they are, no flatware is worth pain, lol!

I have not yet used it. But I will soon. I needed a set of silverware that would pair well with my set of china. My china has a delicate flower pattern on it. And as it turned out, this set of silverware does have an engraved flower pattern on it that is very similar to the one on my china! Thank You!
