1) great, organised kit that even included a tape measure - literally everything you need to do the job from scratch is included 2) instructions are clear and the task is simple. I opted for the suction to window glass option and I cut the material slightly larger to avoid light let in and very happy with the result 3) we got these for our babies daytime naps whilst she is still in her next2me with us rather than installing blinds as it's temporary and she will move to her room/crib in a few months. I have attached a photo of the difference in sunlight between the bedrooms. It really made a difference in broad daylight and definitely helps with her naps - almost too well, we both sleep in extremely well now in the mornings for a bit too long! 4) if I were to really try to scrutinize I would say the velcro is EXTREMELY strong so just undo it carefully when you "open" them for daylight, and the grid markings to cut in a straight line are very faint. I have 20/20 vision and cut it on broad daylight and my straight lines are definitely something to be desired! Also, yes, I can imagine it bothers some people that design has the screw in the middle but tbh not me because the strength of the velcro is so strong anyway. Absolutely great quality product for the price and completely delivers on the results I was after.

Fantastic kit that arrives with everything that you need: a tape measure, erasable marker, fabric cutter, and plenty of hooks etc. More suction cups would’ve been useful as I found I needed a fair few to cover a large window but 16 is still generous and fine. The blinds themselves are a great way to have easy-use blinds in a cheap, non-invasive way. Obviously proper installed blinds would look overall better, but that isn’t what the goal of this product is. Great light blockage, at a great price, made with the consumer in mind.

Amazing product. Been looking at something to help with blackout for ages, but always too expensive and up until now been blinds of some description. Especially is useful on those particularly sunny days after night shifts. This is really simple and very effective. Took 10 mins to install. The cutter isn’t very great. It kept snagging. Should have just used scissors and I thought it was meant to come with lines to help with cutting, they are so discrete / too hidden didn’t notice them. Would have been more visible on the silver side. But 2 very small things. Easy to put up and take down and pretty much completely blacks out the room now. Well chuffed and good value for money. Will really help with sleeping on shifts.

We were skeptical about the cost of the item, but it was well worth it! The box comes with clear step-by-step instructions (including QR code video links if preferred), a tape measure, washable white pen and fabric cutting tool. The black side has grid lines in a slightly different shade, so helps to guide the cutting, without interfering with the blackout effect. And the other side is reflective silver, helping to redirect the sunlight (helps maintain room temperature too). The fabric is not too thick but feels durable. Cannot comment on long term use yet. Plenty of left over fabric for future use. It also comes with two different attachment options, giving you the choice between suction cups on the window or velcro on the frame (or I suppose both). We used the suction cups and it has worked well so far, even with the window ajar. Extremely minimal light leakage at the edges, which is probably because we cut the fabric a little short rather than an issue with the product. Still a bit more on the expensive side, though most things are increasing significantly in price and this feels proportionate/reasonably priced for what you get.

I liked the thickness of the fabric. It felt a quality product. I was impressed that it came with a fabric cutter, white pen and measuring tape. I can tell they've put a lot of effort and thought into making sure you've got all the equipment you need to do the job. The black out fabric has light grey squares on it to make the cutting easier. I tried the cutter but felt more at ease with using fabric scissors. The instructions were good. I used the hook and loop method. The stickers which are put on the window frame are white which is good as it matches my frame colour and camouflaged when I take the fabric off. The black stickers (which connect to the white ones) go onto the fabric. To make it easier, I pressed the black stickers onto the white ones so that the sticky side was facing the room, then stretched the fabric into position over the frame and pushed against the black stickers. That way, I knew the black and white stickers would line up exactly. When I needed to take off the black sticker from the fabric and reposition it, it was fine to peel off even though it was quite sticky. Only thing is, there wasn't guidance on how to deal with the window handles. I cut around it and botched that a bit and now there's a bit of light coming through those bits but it's totally minimal and not a problem. Just looked a bit messy thats all. It's very black when I close the door and switch off the light which is what I wanted. Naturally, in hot weather you'll want to open a window at night and then some light comes in so the product is obviously only going to block it all out when you keep the windows closed. But still, it blocks out more than if you had only black out curtains alone. I can take off the fabric during the day to let daylight back in and put back on the windows only at night if I want to. Overall, I'm happy with the product.

Great product, doesn't pass any light. Also solid packaging with a tape measurer and other necessary tools to make the setup easy.

Produit très qualitatif, le "tissu" est vraiment épais et complètement occultant. Très facile à découper grâce aux lignes sur le tissu et aux outils inclus, et encore plus simple à installer. Pour ma part, l’adhésif des scratch tient parfaitement. La notice précise bien de les coller sur le montant de la fenêtre et pas sur la vitre car la colle supporte mal la chaleur. Je suis ravie de cet achat !

I’m happy with this. The ease of putting it up and the blackout effect. Seems good value for money. I aired it out for the day prior to putting up in daughter’s bedroom and think that’s a good idea.

J'ai acheté le MaximoLife® Ultimate 100% Blackout Blind pour ma chambre, et je suis absolument ravi de ce produit ! L'installation est incroyablement simple : pas besoin de perceuse ni de compétences en bricolage. Les ventouses et les attaches Velcro fournies sont ultra résistantes et tiennent parfaitement en place, même sur une grande fenêtre. J'ai utilisé les Velcro adhésifs, qui sont très solides. Le tissu occultant est de très bonne qualité, léger mais robuste, et bloque 100 % de la lumière, transformant la pièce en obscurité totale, même en plein jour. La grille de découpe intégrée est un vrai plus : elle rend la coupe sur mesure super facile et précise. En résumé, ce store occultant est un excellent investissement pour ceux qui recherchent une solution pratique, efficace et sans tracas pour bloquer la lumière. Je le recommande vivement et j'en achèterai probablement un autre pour une autre pièce !
