Dragonus a Dragonus, as my four-year-old son has named him, has a mischievous little glint in his eye that says, "I've killed a small deer and hidden it somewhere, but I'm not telling you," which is good, because despite my love for Varanidae (and large reptiles in general), I'd be reluctant to approach a feeding Komodo Dragon.`Ol Dragonus is a sturdy beast, well proportioned and accurately detailed in a medium that is really not so far off from the texture of real lizard skin. I was concerned that there were some hand-painted features, such as the eyes and tongue, but whatever they've used is quite durable, certainly soap- and waterproof, as I learned after his first mud bath. If you're looking to teach your little one the correct "one above, one below" two-handed grip for handling lizards, you may actually find his torso a little fat for small hands, but he's gratifyingly stout and healthy looking, with the nice fat stomach and legs a well-fed lizard attains.Based on my experience, activities you may find yourself enjoying with your younglings may include, but are not limited to: Clambering through the trees as a juvenile lizard; chasing down and devouring poisonous snakes up to and including cobras; and biting large ruminants, waiting for the bacterial stew in your saliva to kill them, then eating the carcass. Money well spent.

I got this as a gift to go along with a couple of other gifts I got for someone. He loves Komodo Dragons and I thought this would be the perfect desk top figurine. (I put the DVD case to kinda help give size comparison) it's actually a little bigger (not by much) than what I thought it was going to be. But all in all it's perfect!

My 3 1/2 yr old grandson loves this Komodo Dragon. The only toys he really likes are Dino's, and Komodo's.He calls his game playing, Playing with his Buddy's..I think this Komodo is a fun make believe toy.As you can see from the pictures that QueenoPearls has put up. It is life like. With allot ofdetails to the body, face etc.It is kind of a soft rubber. It is not as small as it looked from the picture on Amazon.For the money this is a great buy. While in Hawaii recently, and going to a big toy store there,I bought a hard type of Plaster Komodo for more money, and it doesn't come close to the details, size, and feel that this one does.Two thumbs up on this Komodo Dragon

This Komodo dragon is a perfect replica of the real thing. Exactly as the seller described. My grandson loves it!

My son had a school project about Komodo dragons. He used this one in his display.

Other than being on the small side, we really love this. Wish it were a little bigger. My 5.5 year old is happy with it though.

Everyone needs a komodo dragon to hang out with! This fellow is easygoing, behaves himself and is cheaper than a personal trainer. Unlike the real thing, you can handle him with confidence and ease. He's sturdy and yet light on his feet, gets along with people of all ages, and doesn't make messes.What a cool dude!

Nice size. My 6 yr old grandson approved and he knows his animals and loves to point out errors in toys. He could not find any with this one. Will be purchasing more.
